Gets the job done! No damage on arrival. Needed for the basics fridge and tv no problem. Being in Southern California wild fires and black outs becoming everyday this w5300v has been up to the task. Sound is tame comes with the basics wheels and oil. Thank you!

Love my WH5300! No more ripping my arm out of the socket trying to pullstart the Briggs and Stratton! Took less than 15 minutes for the setup! (And that included opening the box) Came with the needed tools AND the oil! What a deal! Just add gas and go with the push of a button! The sweet remote is going to be awesome in the winter when I look out the window and push to start! Best investment!

I've been looking for generator for years, read lots of reviews about different brands, then I found this one WGen5300V, the output 5300W is almost enough to power my whole house, and with very good price. Just take one pull to start it, and it works just as I expected.

This generator performed as expected. The product arrived in good shape. There was some minor scuffing on the bottom of the frame which would impact rust resistance for unfavorable environments but not an issue for me. It came with a wheel kit that wasn't too difficult to put on. It just needed to be propped up on something to get the wheels on. once that was done the cushioned feet were easy to install by just tipping the unit up using the wheels as pivot points. Oil and an oil addition funnel with a tube came with the unit. Adding oil was simple but does require the funnel and tube since the addition point is recessed somewhat under the frame. This could be improved but not a huge thing. There is an oil drain plug and it appears to be in a fairly good location. I haven't done an oil change yet to identify an issues but don't expect any. Battery connection and engine preparation to start were all simple and normal. The manual has instructions on how to convert the generator from a grounded neutral to floating as needed. Engine started easily using electric start. Pull start was not actually performed but based on quickness of start with starter and pull resistance, I expect no issues. Upon starting a puff of oil smoke came out indicating the cylinder was lubed with oil for storage and shipment. Noise level is loud but comparable with other generators of this type and size. Generator was connected to house using the 240 V outlet and assumed load as expected. 240 volt load was applied and worked fine. If the fuel is shut off the generator dies suddenly once all the fuel in the carburetor is used but when the fuel tank is low it runs erratically. This detail was not mentioned in troubleshooting in the manual. Not an issue unless someone in a power outage and less familiar with engines experiences RPM pulsations and goes to the troubleshooting section. Everything performed as expected.

The construction and welding of the frame seem solid. But for the first time I put fuel in. Gasoline leaked at the fuel valve. It turned out that there was a crack on fuel hose. Instead of of returning to the store, I replaced the hose. Afterward, generator started up on the first pull. Everything seems to run fine, but so far, I ran the generator for only 1 hour with no load for breaking in.

This is a well built unit that is easy to set-up. Well written manual. Has start-up instruction right on the unit. Lots of power for it's size, more than adequate for an emergency back-up generator for a house with a generator interlock switch set up. Very happy with this purchase.

While this is heavy, rolls easily on the wheels furnished. While this is a complex machine, the instructions are very clear and understandable. Very simple to start. I use it to furnish power to a small building, as needed. In order to meet code, please have a certified electrician hook this generator to a building. A detachable hook-up cord does not come with the generator.

Ordered my generator for an upcoming event where I will be needing power for my deep fryer. I have yet to try out the generator itself, but the set up was easy for the wheels (which means easy transport) and the user manual is extremely helpful and clear on instructions. The whole machine feels durable and strong.

I ordered the generator on line and shipped to store, got it home and went through the quick start instructions. Tried electric start and got nothing but clicking noise. Tried pull start and it was totally froze-could not pull the engine over. Took it back and ordered another. Second one got here, went through the set up process, FOB start worked, push button start worked. Tried the pull start and the rewind did not work. One pull and I had to take cover off to rewind by hand. Tried it a few times. Doesn't rewind. Have to keep it because we need it for the week. Will be contacting customer service. Hope they can just send a new rewind. Runs great after started. Will have a better idea of how it does after powering the homestead for the next week.

I bought this generator to replace one that died on me. This generator got very high reviews and I decided to give it a try. I am very happy with it. Very easy to get set up, and started up on first try. It looks like it will give me many years of great service....I am glad I got it....cant wait until the first power outage to really give it a good test.
