This generator has been on my radar for a while, I love all the safety features of this product .The WGen5300v is the perfect size for the things I need it for, the right amount of power and watts for my purpose.The generator and control panel features are easy to read . The transfer switch is the reason I purchased this model. Excellent product.

Just purchased this, appears very well made. tested and runs smoothly, low vibration and not overly loud. Wanted the 220 V option which this has. great value for this wattage and options. have not run for extended time or heavy use so cannot comment as of yet on that

My daughter and son-in-law were telling me how pleased they were with their recently purchased 5300SC generator. With the start of hurricane season here, I thought it was a good idea to have one of my own. As I am 96 years young, the electric start feature will definitely come in handy! I just bought this for hurricane preparedness and after reading the reviews of all manufacturers out there this one rated the highest and everyone I talked to said this brand was the one to go with. Feel better going into hurricane season here in Florida.

I am sooo excited about this Westinghouse WGEN5300V generator purchase. I bought a home here in Florida a few years back and fortunately there have been no serious hurricanes (power outages). If and when they come and I am ready! This generator is a perfect size for mobility by a mere female. I hope I never have to use it!

I bought this unit only a few days ago, was an easy setup process to do. I ran the unit for 1 hour under load and had no issues. This is a great light compact unit reasonably priced for the intended use for emergency use for me. I would say one improvement for future thought if the handle to transport could have a latch to make it able to pull or push unit, for pushing the handle does not stay in the upright position.

I put a transfer switch on the outside of our house for use in case we have a prolonged outage (Buffalo Winters Suck) -- After doing the math I figured I needed at max 5000 watts to run various lights, refrigerator, freezer and our steam boiler. This Generator will run them all without issue, and can also run a microwave and air fryer simultaneously. This was really surprising to me --- That and the fact that it is electric start made this a no brainer for me. For the money, this generator can not be beat!

Just unboxed my WGEN5300v generator. I'm very excited to have this generator. So far the only thing I have a problem with is the fuel hose behind the airfilter. As im adding fuel to the generator to start it up for the first time i see fuel puddling up under the generator, the leak is from what looks like a fuel hose that goes behind the air filter. =/ I hope this will be covered under the warranty.

So far, it has started on the first pull every time. It is also much quieter than our old one. The pull up handle and wheels are very handy for moving it around and saves the hernia of lugging it. We haven't pulled a lot of power with it so far other than running an air compressor, but it doesn't seem to miss a beat when the compressor kicks on. I'm very pleased with our purchase!

This generator has the capacity to run a refrigerator, cube freezer, microwave, small window AC, and some lighting. Easy to assemble wheels and antivibe feet. Comes with necessary tools to assemble and a spark plug wrench and oil. Only add about 3/4 of the oil. Added fuel and it started right up. After initial run of about 5 minutes let's sit for 5 minutes and check oil again. Should be right in the middle. This model has an electric starter, with battery, and also a hand pull cord. Follow the maintenance instructions and it should last forever.
