We bought this Westinghouse generator because we live in FL and we lived thru Hurricane Ian but had to borrow a friends generator for two weeks, as we'd lost power. We decided that it was time to purchase one for ourselves and we did our research and checked reviews. This generator got the best reviews and had all the features we needed. Now, we hope that we don't have to use it, but at least we have piece of mind!

I bought this just over a week ago, had an issue with the oil dipstick that I can't seem to get resolved. I have talked to a person (after a long wait on hold) and sent e-mails, still have no resolution to this minor issue. This part must be the least expensive on the whole unit, yet I can't seem to get satisfaction!

This has got to be one of the best purchases my husband and i have ever made. We have always needed one but kept putting it off. Finally we decided to get one, and we were very excited. When it finally came, it was like Christmas. Actually, it almost was. My husband picked it up, brought it home and it fired right up. So no worries for us when the power goes out, because it probably will. I love knowing now i will have some back-up. Thank you so much Westinghouse!

I recently had to purchase another generator because the one I had quit running after only 2 years. This unit is exhibiting some of the same things the last unit was doing when starting. When the unit runs, it is great. However, starting the unit is a different story. Only purchased another westinghouse because I wanted a remote start.

The 1st generator send out was damaged in shipping. I contacted Westinghouse and it was fairly easy get it all together to return. The day the shipping company picked up the damaged one the new one shipped. It did take a little while for the replacement to get to me due to bad weather delay. The new one fired right up and is just what I needed.

Seems OK after starting and running for the break in period. 3stars because it did come with a large dent in the windings cover. They had to have packed it that way from the factory as the box wasn't even creased. It also appeared they painted it with the dent because it had no scratch, scrape, paint chip, nothing. Not great quality control.

Generator arrived a couple weeks longer than anticipated, but not surprising since it was ordered in December. Out of the box, there were a couple dents but nothing that should affect its operation. Assembled, added fluids, and it started right up on first pull. So far, very pleased.

Purchased this generator to replace my old and tired 5000W generator. This one has more wattage and is more compact, quieter, and starts much easier. I love the electric start option. We live in the country and have frequent power outages; a standby generator is a must for us. I do feel a little guilty when our lights are on and the neighbors' houses are dark LOL.

We bought this generator because now that we have a kid, we can't just wait it out when the power goes out. I love that it can use propane as well as gas, as it's easier to keep a tank of propane and not worry about it going bad. So glad I bought it!

I live near a busy intersection where people always seem to get into accidents damaging the transformer near my place. Power cuts out a handful of times a year and I need my meds to stay cold. Bought this to run when that happens and haven't had an issue since.
