[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this immediately and loved it. I had never had a standalone air fryer so I didn’t know what I expected. This was easy to use and made everything delicious. I enjoy using it for bagels in the morning. It’s also easy to clean!

I would not recommend this air fryer to anyone. First of all it barely functions as an air fryer due to its poor design. The circulation plate is so close to the floor of the drawer that no air can circulate under the food leaving everything soggy rather than crispy. Secondly, the quality is terrible! The non-stick coating started flaking off the very first time it was used! Now, five months after purchase, it has started turning off randomly and also turning itself on randomly even when the drawer is open!! It also no longer turns off when the drawer is pulled open. This is so dangerous and I would suggest everyone avoid this brand.

Listen, I'm a gymer and my mornings consist of quick meals. I tossed 2 sausage patties into the air fryer and within 5 minutes of it being on, all I hear is a static sound. Obviously, it was from the grease but no way can one deal with that kind of noise. I couldn't even focus on my classwork work being that it was so loud! Definitely, swapping back to my Xl.

I am an OG when it comes to air fryers. In fact, I started using them long before many of my friends and family ever heard of them. When I tell you how impressed I am with this product, it comes from someone with a great deal of experience cooking with air fryers. Firstly, silence is golden and air fryers are not known to be quiet. This West Bend air fryer is so quiet, you can hardly tell it's on. No more raising the TV volume while cooking. Another feature that I love is the light. No more opening and closing the drawer to check on the food, you can see clearly through the window with the light on. There are many other features, such as broil, bake, preheat, dehydrate, roast, reheat etc. Additionally, the guess work is done for you. The touchscreen is preset to help you cook chicken, fish, fries etc. I have cooked each of these foods and the preset to the time and temperature are perfect. Everything I have cooked has come out excellent. They even thought to put a reminder to shake or turn food over. This is perfect when cooking French fries. The beep goes off half way through and reminds you to give it a shake. It took me no longer than 3 minutes to learn how to operate all of the features. They made it very simple. This is the perfect tool for those who want to keep their kitchen cool in the warm weather. No more heating up a stove and making the kitchen hot. It also saves on energy. I'll stop there but I could go on and on.

Purchased 2 of these. 1st one - before I used it, I washed it in warm soapy water like the instructions said to do. Water got into the window so I assumed the seal was broken. Took it back to the store and bought another one since the price was great and the size of the basket was awesome. Washed this one (basket) and it leaked just like the 1st one. Took that one back too. Would not recommend.

So easy to check on your food without opening the basket, there is even a light feature which makes this super simple to operate. Has lots of cool features such as cooling air, reheat food, preheat basket, &a keep warm to have food sit inside and stay at temp. There are preset modes for different foods &all ! I have been using this for months &it has not disappointed I have cooked bacon wrapped scallops and wings and even pork chops all came out crispy &to perfection!

Senior citizen living by self. Use this thing every day. Chicken, potatoes biscuits, egg rolls, so far. Doing anything that Sam's has in frozen foods. Many recipes on internet, and air fryer cookbooks available. Don't be afraid to buy and use one!!!!!!!

West Bend is a widely recognized brand name and a name you can trust for quality products. First I need to talk about the appearance. This is a great size air fryer. We have a big family, five total, and the 7 quart size really is perfect. It is black and it has a touchscreen control panel, A removable air fryer rack with a really large viewing window. This air fryer really does it all. From air frying, baking and broiling, to dehydrating as well. There are settings for different meats and vegetables, you can roast and reheat and a keep warm setting as well. It also does french fries!! It is a big bonus for this house because the kids love french fries. It has a handy guide in the instruction booklet for default times and temperatures for the different cooking settings. One really great feature is when it’s time to shake or turn your food the unit will beep three times. So there’s no forgetting to do it and you go back and your food is overcooked on one side. There’s also a guide that tells you the cooking times for different types of potatoes whether frozen or home made french fries, different types of meats and different types of frozen foods. The kids have gone on social media and have done their search for air fryer foods and they have made their own snacks and they have become quite adventurous and creative with what they’re cooking. We don’t mind at all because they are having fun, they are learning and they are eating what they are making and they are loving it. This unit is extremely easy to use. The air fryer uses hot air in combination with high-speed air circulation and a top grill to prepare a variety of foods. This cooks with very little or no oil so the food is a lot healthier. And it’s wonderful getting hot, crispy french fries. This unit has made the kids more aware of cooking and what they actually prefer and how to make it. And if they’re making it they are so much more eager to eat it then to just leave it on the plate and walk away. We have cooked so many different foods in this and it seems like the possibilities are endless. This is really an amazing kitchen appliance. It looks good sitting in the kitchen and it is extremely easy to use and the results are fabulous. This will make an excellent gift. For the kids going back to school in the dorm room, a holiday gift, or even a wedding gift for the new couple.

This is perfect for me because I’m always on the go and this is good for quick meals. I do not like greasy food and this helps to trap the grease. The food doesnit come out soggy, but instead comes out nice and crispy. None messy and easy to clean. The structure of the fryer is appealing and ok to sit on the counter without being an eyesore.
