This will help save food in the fridge & can help keeping the house cool, if needed. At the very least charge devices so we can be in contact with family, if needed. It’s not too loud, & super easy to set up. I’ve wanted a generator for so long so I’m so happy with this!!

It can run from 3 fuel sources which makes it convenient for many emergencies or when you need it most. The wattage and power is impressive. This runs my deep freezer for hours without any issues. It was easy to assemble and the wheels and handle make it easy to move around. This generator is incredible, the noise level is surprisingly low for as much power that it boasts. This is perfect for the power outages that have unfortunately become more common in this area. This is a product and brand that I highly recommend.

After putting it to the test, we can confidently say: this generator is absolutely outstanding! Watch my video you can hear the noise level. For such a large generator it’s not loud, loud! Compared to our old (small, little dude) DuroStar generator, the difference is incredible. See my side by side comparison of the two generators. The old one was unable to power our whole home. Mainly had it to keep the fridge on and perhaps a lamp. As you can see from the photos, the Generac is much more compact, yet it delivers so much more power and efficiency. It’s designed to handle major loads — from running a huge RV to keeping an entire home powered. In fact, we’re currently in the process of wiring our home to connect it directly, so during the next round of severe North Texas thunderstorms or tornado-related outages, we’ll be fully prepared. Even though we didn’t purchase this unit ourselves, we would absolutely invest in Generac products in the future based on this experience. The GP6500E TF has exceeded our expectations in every way. We can now rest easy knowing that no matter how bad the weather gets, we’ll have the power we need to stay comfortable and safe. Love the solar options they have on their website! We purchased our generator just before hurricane Helene came through as our older generator of 20 years stopped working. The new unit worked fine for the week we were without power but started dripping some oil the last two days. After speaking to Generac and then taking it to an authorized repair dealer we were without the unit for almost six months due to no part available. Thankfully we didn’t need the unit as we never lost power during that time but that is way too long to wait for a repair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with the Generac GP9500E Tri Fuel Generator! It’s very well-built and feels super sturdy. It is quite heavy, though, so I definitely recommend having two people to lift it if needed. Once you get the wheels installed, it becomes much easier to move around. The setup was pretty straightforward, there aren’t too many pieces, and I was actually able to put it together by myself, though it would go faster with two people. I’m especially glad to have this generator since I live in Florida, where hurricane season can easily knock out the power. Last year, we couldn’t use our submersible water pump to prevent flooding during a storm because we lost power, so having this generator as a backup gives me so much more peace of mind. I also love that it runs on gasoline, propane, or natural gas, just with the turn of a dial. It’s super flexible and reliable, and I love that the COsense technology adds extra safety by automatically shutting down the generator if dangerous carbon monoxide levels are detected. Overall, I’m really happy with this unit and feel much more prepared for the next hurricane season!

I was really surprised at the poor quality of the generator I purchased in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. The fuel tank leaked fuel. Once I got the tank replaced, the fuel petcock now leaks fuel. Even the replacement one I received leaks fuel. I would not purchase again, nor would I recommend purchase of a generac generator.

Purchased the E7500 in 2015 during a week long power outage from a wind storm. It powered my furnace, lights, microwave, Keurig and toaster oven. It was 11 degrees F and very windy. I have used it several times since for minor projects. It starts every time with both battery and pull cord. It's on its second spark plug and battery. Love this generator.
