It was a settle taste of ranch that wasn't to over posing from the original taco taste. I'd have to say this would probably be a good seasoning not only for tacos but maybe fries as well.

I can't wait to try the other flavors they have for our own Hidden Valley Ranch Night. Definitely a must have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THIS SEASONING MIX FROM HIDDEN VALLEY RANCH NIGHT IS A GREAT IDEA. I'M SO GLAD PINCHME SENT ME A SAMPLE OF THE BUTTERMILK CHICKEN. IT'S A GREAT WAY TO GET THAT BUTTERMILK FLAVOR, WITHOUT HAVING TO SOAK THE CHICKEN. IT ALSO SAVES MONEY BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE TO THROW OUT THE REST OF THE BUTTERMILK. FLAVOR WAS GREAT. WILL TRY THE OTHER FLAVORS TOO.

Makes the best cheese dip! Sour cream (24 oz), cream cheese (2 8-oz blocks), Rotel tomatoes (1 can, drained), 1 packet of Rancho Taco mix, and 8 oz of finely shredded cheese (I use either Colby/Jack or Mexican Blend) -- mix, chill overnight. My friends are still raving about it. It makes really good tacos, too. Next up: using it mixed with panko bread crumbs when I make air-fryer chicken tenders. Many uses for this product!

It really brightens up plain chicken. My family likes fried but I like baked so I used it on both. It was great on each. The ranch really comes through but not so much that it's over powering. Cooking was easy and it didn't take extra prep time. Two thumbs up.

It only requires the mix, chicken and oil and it is very quick and easy to make yet tastes great with vegetables or whatever you would normally eat chicken with. I was very impress3d with how easy it was yet how tasty. There are 3 other flavors I plan to try but I love thr buttermilk chicken brand.
