This is the biggest piece of junk you could buy. Smokes like crazy and leaks grease from the bottom when the dip pan is empty. It takes three times longer to cook than a regular air fryer. I bought this because my regular Power XL air fryer needed replacement and expected this to be an upgrade. What a piece of junk, buyer beware.

Purchased about a year ago. Worked for a little while but shortly thereafter we noticed our toast was not coming out evenly toasted and it was taking longer to toast. We rarely used it for anything besides toast and reheating leftovers. This product is a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!! The company should do a recall for a defective product and refund all of our money considering the number of defective products that have been reviewed on this site alone.

Does it work? Yeah, kind of. I had a smaller Air Fryer with a basket but wanted one of the bigger ones to be able to prepare meals for the whole family so we got this one when it was on sale. Cooking times for recipes are WAY off. Sometimes double or triple the time and that’s with the heat turned up to 450°F. It gets the job done, just not well. The toaster function has never worked at all. I won’t purchase from this brand again. When it inevitably quits working I will probably go with.a Ninja.

After using the power xl about 5 times the unit wouldn't heat up enough. Even setting it to toast with a temp of 450 it would toast the bread.. instead it just dried it out after 15 mins of waiting for it to toast. I returned to Sam's Club for a refund.

Got this toaster oven because it was a big upgrade from my other one and it was like $40 off at the time. Chose this over the ninja that was $10 more because this had more features and seemed to have more cooking space. Got it home and it worked great and we were very pleased with our purchase. Then about a month in, the light went out. It still cooked fine, so I figured it was whatever, just inconvenient and was disappointed a bit. Fast forward about 7 months later and it started burning our food once in a while. I didn't think too much of it because it was like once every 5 times we used it. Then a couple weeks later this thing scorched my chicken and smoked out my kitchen. Figured out that the heating elements went rouge and were stuck on full blast. The knobs and everything was too hot to touch. SAFETY HAZARD! I let it cool off and turned it back on to test it. Now the elements don't turn on. It fried itself. I'm pretty upset about this and Sam's only guarantees it's electronics for 90 days so I guess I'm out $140. Thanks Sam's!

I bought this air frier, used it all the time and love it. Less than a year after getting it I noticed it was taking longer to cook thing and then day it didn’t seem to have enough power to make toast. I found one review online that said they had the same thing…it doesn’t continue to upreform the same for more than 7-8 months. I’m disappointed and will not be buying any other products from power XL. Customer service was no help either.

It worked great as a grill and bake option. Never did air fry well at all. Broiler and toast option did nothing. I've had it for 9 months and today, cold air was coming out of the fan after on for 20 minutes. Tested the broil and grill option and nothing was heating up at all. What a total waste of money just after 9 months. I hate this brand as my separate air fryer went out as well after a year. Stay away from Power XL brands. I'm upgrading to Ninja.

I received the Power XL in short order and was excited to try it out. I did the preliminary break in. I loaded the two crisper baskets with chicken tenders and the last one with frozen fries. I set the temp at 400 and the timer at 20 minutes as that is the lowest setting. I preheated the oven for 5 minutes then inserted the food. After the timer went off, the fries were soggy and the chicken hadn't browned so back in the oven for about 15 minutes and the results were the same. Soggy fries and uncooked chicken. I boxed the thing back up and returned it to Sams. I didn't try any other features as I felt if it can't air fry fries or chicken tenders then it was a dud and had to be returned.

This so called Air Fryer is total junk, if you are considering purchasing an air fryer don’t buy this product. SAM’s should remove this product from their shelves. It doesn’t perform like a traditional air fryer it doesn’t even toast a piece of bread let alone work as an air fryer. DONT BUY.

Worked great for a couple of months, then just like someone pulled the right electronic part and it simply failed to work. It was on our counter top and we took good care of it. But, unfortunately we were busy with other things and did not return it. Do not recommend buying.
