Bought this a few days ago - ngl pretty gr8 unit. Will heat up quite alot if you do anything serious with it, but the fan's quiet and the heat is almost entirely focused away from the keyboard. I work an office sales position atm and being able to go anywhere I want and do the basic tasks I need - as well as having one of the nicest monitors I've ever seen - is remarkable. I appreciate the work LG's doing. PS. I never thought I'd ever own a 17" laptop because it would be too bulky.. but here I am Also I opened up blender - and I know I wont be a power renderer here, but so far I've managed to do basic surface editing and other tasks.

It's super lightweight but extremely durable, so I didn't have to worry about taking it from place to place or studio to studio. I needed something fast with a big screen. The Intel Evo Ultra 7 processor and the large 17” screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio hit it out of the park. Using a ton of power wasn't a big deal at all with the 21.5 hour battery life, which has outperformed every laptop I've owned in the past. I couldn't recommend this product anymore. Love this computer but there was something off about it. It's awkward to type ... and then I noticed the issue. The mouse pad is not centered correctly with the keyboard. So when you put your fingers on the keys to type, your hand is on the mouse pad. So when you type it moves the mouse. RIDICULOUS. Especially considering the price. Returned it.

Indeed light, comfortable, used for work and can not fault it
