Great lightweight full-size laptop. I bought this to replace the same unit which had 16gb memory which started to fail. Unfortunately the memory as with many laptops is soldered so can not be replaced or upgraded. This is the only negative I have about this unit

It's super lightweight but extremely durable, so I didn't have to worry about taking it from place to place or studio to studio. I needed something fast with a big screen. The Intel Evo Ultra 7 processor and the large 17” screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio hit it out of the park. Using a ton of power wasn't a big deal at all with the 21.5 hour battery life, which has outperformed every laptop I've owned in the past. I couldn't recommend this product anymore. The 17-inch WQXGA display is crisp, making editing a breeze, while the Intel Evo i7 processor and 16GB of RAM easily handle multiple tasks. The 512GB SSD is fast and spacious enough for my needs, though larger projects may require external storage. I often connect it to a 32” monitor in my studio, and the dual-screen setup is flawless. The battery lasts nearly all day, keeping me mobile. While the backlit keyboard could be brighter, it’s comfortable for long sessions. Sound quality could be better, but headphones solve that. Its so convenient to be able to bring my laptop around since I work from home and move locations often. I purchased this laptop because the price was great compared to other brands but had a lot more benefits. The huge 17 inch screen makes it so much easier to work, but it still perfectly fits on my lap desk, even with enough room for me to use a mouse when I want to. The battery life has been great so far too, which is so helpful to not feel like Im attached to a charging cord all the time! Would definitely recommend this LG laptop. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this laptop! So much so in fact, that this is actually the second LG Gram laptop I’ve purchased. I know how one for myself and one for my wife. We both do a lot of video editing and this laptop is perfect for that. The screen is really big, so it makes it easy to be able to view everything we need to while editing. Also, it has a lot of RAM, so it’s able to run professional editing software and render large video files. I really love that it’s lightweight too. Even though it’s fairly large, it doesn’t feel heavy or bulky, just sleek and versatile. To be honest I’ll probably just stick with LG laptops forever now because they have been so great for me and really can do all the things I need a laptop to be able to do for me. If I had to pick one issue to improve, I would say the speakers could use some work. But other than that, this laptop is basically perfect and absolutely worth the price point. Positives For a 17 inch model the laptop and it's charger are both incredibly light and this has been achieved without compromising the battery life or charging speed. The screen is excellent, looks great with HDR and non-HDR content. It's easily good enough for critical photo editing. The included LG Smart Assistant program makes it easy to customise the laptop and it's settings as well as check for driver plus LG program updates. Has a good number and variety of USB and other ports. Has a spare NVMe slot for a second SSD (must be single-sided to fit). Only a couple of programs I'd class as bloatware included. For off-line backups the boot menu is easily accessed using the F10 key. I have confirmed that when running off-line, both the free Macrium Reflect 8 and the commercial Terabyte Image For Linux programs reliably backup and restore the laptop. Negatives I'd much rather have had full size Home, End and cursor keys instead of the numeric keypad which I never use. The Wi-Fi connection frequently takes a while to settle down after logging in, dropping and remaking the connection until it settles down after approximately one minute when it then maintains a stable connection for the rest of the session (the Wi-Fi driver was up to date). It's not easy to see the outline of the trackpad in anything other than a well lit room. One of the USB type C ports is used for the mains charger connection. The carton the laptop ships in is far too thin with the result that the laptop within is easily damaged in transit as was my first one which had to be immediately returned for replacement.

Still very much in infancy of use. So far looks to be an excellent product
