We checked out the pro adapt at a local furniture store and decided that the firm has just the right amount of softness for us. We compared it to the medium pro adapt which we thought was too soft. All said and done, the firm that we ordered directly from Tempur-pedic has absolutely no softness unlike the one that was in the local furniture store. It is like sleeping on a rock!

I have a split king. I have the soft and my husband has the firm. We are sleeping 100% better! The bed conforms to your body and I now sleep with no pain from pressure points. I love that you can adjust the bed for reading or propping up your feet. Warning....its hard to get up in the morning!

I believe that owning a Tempur-Pedic mattress and pillow that is the right one for you is the key to achieving a restful night sleep and pain free. I no longer have to go for a biweekly massage that, oftentimes, only causes more neck and back pain. What is so wonderful about my Tempur-ProAdapt mattress is that it contours to the shape of my body. There are times when I do not lay my head on my Tempur-Pedic pillows, and that is absolutely fine too if you ask me. So far, I own two mattress from Tempur-Pedic and I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is going to last me more than 20 years. With care, weekly laundry-washing, and the soft touch of Tempur-Pedic bedsheets and pillow covers, I know for a fact that IT IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF ME! I've had the Pro Adapt Firm model for a few weeks and at this point the mattress has exceeded my expectations. The first couple nights took some getting used to because of the firmness and the memory foam feel. Each night the bed becomes more comfortable and supportive. It's been such a long time since I actually didn't want to leave my bed in the morning and I look forward to going to sleep every night. Def not cheap but I look at it as a solid investment in my health and quality of life. Worth every penny.

This mattress is comfortable and is almost firm enough for us. What brings it down from an A is we know that after 5-10 years this mattress that is already not firm enough will be even softer and uncomfortable. We were told this is the most firm mattress sold by Tempurpedic. :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a veteran with multiple disabilities. The biggest issue relate to my back. Normally, I'm a back sleeper and my old bed gave me problems over the last year. My wife suggested that we invest in other bed because she notice the lack of sleep and back problem I have been suffering over the last year. We did our research over the last couple months and came to conclusion that the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid was the bed for us. I have been resting much better and my back problem are resolving itself. I'm a big man and would recommend for the guys like me.

We tried all of the mattresses at the Tempur Pedicure store. It was difficult to choose and we settled on the Pro-Adapt Soft. I'm glad we did. It's super comfortable. I'm also so happy that we purchased the adjustable base. I have lower back pain and found that just elevating the foot of the mattress relieves any pressure on my lower back.

When I tell you I have switched rooms this new quality of sleep is amazing. It's like sleeping on a body contouring marshmallow. It keeps you cool through the night which is rare. I'm use to pillow tops and was very surprised by the comfort .Everyone in my home be wanting to keep the bed to themselves.
