We purchased our Tempur Adapt Medium Hybird about a month ago and it still doesn't feel like it did in the store. I have been suffering from lower back pain while sleeping for about 10 years, and after trying many other mattress, including running the gambit of online companies, we figured we would bite the bullet and pay for a top of the line mattress. I was hoping that with all the hype and great reviews, we'd get what we paid for...the best nights sleep money can buy. But I'm still experiencing the same lower back pain I had on mattresses 1/3 of the price.

After 20+ years on a Sealy Perfect Sleeper bed set, my first Tempur-Pedic has performed beyond expectation! Initially thought to be "too firm" the mattress has adjusted my posture alignment and I have longer rest periods as I also tend to awaken less during sleep periods. I am an avid marathoner and I notice aches and tender spots I might go to bed with appear to be gone when I awaken. I am so glad I finally purchased this bed set and look forward to comfortable blissful rests on it.

I'll be honest, the first week on this bed had me nervous that I didn't make the right purchase. It felt much more firm than the models in the store. I was finding my self tossing and turning and waking up stiff. However, after doing some reading online, I discovered that the mattress needed time break-in and for the Tempur cells to breath. For the first couple of weeks when I was changing the bedding, I let the bed sit "naked" for a few hours, and would even unzip the Tempur cover. I found this made a big difference in the feel and softness of the mattress. Within a few weeks, I was sleeping great. I have had the bed just about two months now and absolutely LOVE it! It's not too firm and not too soft - just right. And supportive too. I have been sleeping great and no longer have the back pain I was experiencing on my old mattress. Would highly recommend!

Great mattress sleep much better at night!! Only issue is the sheets do not stay on. I thought it was the$170 mattress protector that was slipping the sheets off. But it wasn't. They continue to fall off every night. I have the extra deep pocketed sheets too....

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! We love our split king pro adapt medium hybrid. I also love the pillows we ordered. We got 2 king size from the cloud collection. It was the $200 one with cooling technology. We also got the 2 for $99 cloud cooling regular size for between my knees. The customer service is awesome. We had a celebrity mattress that was discontinued. It was causing back pain. They refunded the price that was paid 9 years ago to go toward a new mattress. I highly recommend tempurpedic. I love the cooling technology!!!

Tempurpedic mattresses are always very comfortable and allow you to sleep all night - but the lack of a spring response in a typical Tempurpedic can make getting in and out of the bed - and undertaking any other activities that are better with a little bounce - somewhat tedious. However, the ProAdapt solves those issues - while maintaining the comfort of sleeping on a Tempurpedic, when you're sleeping.... I got the new adjustable base too and love it - the Zero Gravity setting is amazing. Note that the foot of the bed is up really high when you're in this position - like literally 4 feet off the ground - which is fine for the person in the bed but I can't imagine somebody else or a pet trying to join you or depart - instructions state that the bed should be flat when you get in and out of it so that shouldn't be an issue.

This is our second Tempur-pedic in the last 20 years. Both have been great. If you want a great night's sleep and alot fewer aches and pains this is the only way to go. In fact our old Tempur pedic and bases had alot of life left in them and our daughter and her husband loved it. So now they have it and couldn't be happier.

Im typically a stomach sleeper but I can toss and turn, I usually wake up when I toss and turn but not with this mattress I can find myself waking up on my side in the morning on a full night's rest! It's supportive to cradle my whole body, even on my back it feels comfortable and I'm not that big of a back sleeper! highly recommended.

If you are looking for a comfortable supportive firm mattress- go for the medium or soft. I love tempur pedic- but not this one- it is very expensive and I have neck and back pain daily- so disappointing. Before trusting tempur pedic firm and just purchasing- seriously consider getting the medium or soft version of this mattress. You will save yourself over 3000
