A year ago, we were sleeping on an all foam Ghost Bed and I had lower back pain every morning. We went to a mattress store and did their assessment and ended up with a Sealy Posturepedic Medium Hybrid with an adjustable base. That alleviated almost all of my lower back pain, but I still slept with a pillow under my knees most nights. We have been sleeping on the Pro-Adapt for 3 weeks now and my lower back pain is gone, it seems my support needs are finally being met. My husband didn't experience the same issues as I, but he did comment this is the most comfortable mattress we have slept on yet. I would now pay for the level of quality Tempur-Pedic provides, I'm a convert! For those on the fence, consider this. If a mattress lasts for 7-10 years, your daily cost for amazing sleep is less than a cup of coffee. Would that be worth it to you?

In making a decision, we were determined to research all available mattresses. The choices were mind-numbing and very confusing. In the end, however, we reverted to our long time preference to buy only the best. Tempur-Pedic is the brand we had always heard WAS the best. The rest was easy. We had recently purchased an 8K TV for our bedroom, so we chose the Tempur-ProAdapt medium hybrid split king, together with the Tempur Ergo split king adjustable base. Everything about the purchase process was 5-Star, and we now look forward to a great night's sleep, each and every night. We could not be more satisfied!

I purchased this mattress a year ago because I was having back issues. Since then, I have never slept so well in my life. This mattress has been life changing. I highly recommend a TempurPedic mattress to anyone whether they have health issues of not. They will not regret it.

So a couple of things to keep in mind, the mattress takes a while to break in and can sleep warmer than other mattresses. With this in mind, choose appropriate bedding, my wife, and I use cooling sheets and blankets as anyone might in the summertime. After the bed breaks in, it does hug your curves and supports you completely. I have had ours now for two months and feel amazing benefits, no back or neck pain, worth the investment. We have tried other companies that ship in a box, and this is just superior quality and manufacturing. One thing I would like to note is they do have the top cooling layer to their bed with the tight-knit material, but you don't notice when sheets are on, unless you sleep directly on, which I know most would not do as it may void a warranty from stains. I wish Tempurpedic would offer the same quality of knitting for the bed as a sheet or blanket set. Pro is the comfort you will obtain, its truly unlike any other bed and it shows how they made memory foam their own. A con, it's relatively expensive, but its made in the USA and they employ US workers, this means a lot to my family. I suggest this bed for anyone with back pain or special conditions. Perhaps another suggestion I could make is most other companies will offer a full money back warranty with no restocking fees and an extended trial period, Tempurpedic is more conservative compared to others, but, they most likely incur more costs than the others do. Excellent mattress, try it out at a store first before buying, as there are many models. Its all about the right feel for you and your body type/preferences. Great bed, sleeping well! Ever since we receive the New Mattress we inmediately noticed that we were able to rest better, even our Heart Rate became Slower at night because of the relaxing feeling it provides during our sleep. Your movements are isolated, therefore my Wife rest better and she does not become awake when I leave the Bed.

Finally splurged on a Temper-Pedic mattress, and not only do I love how comfortable it is, my back pain went away and hasn't come back. I'm very glad I bought this mattress.

Disappointed in your purchase? Listen up. I have a solution. I accidentally discovered if you take off the zip-ff top cover layer and sleep on the light blue mesh layer with your regular sheets/bedding the mattress will be everything that you wished it was. Cool and comfortable!! I'm not kidding. Unzip it now and try it yourself!! There is no protective layer so be cautious.

I've tried many mattresses over the years, and as a side sleeper, I was always left with shoulder and hip problems and pain. Add in a loudly snoring bulldog, and its a recipe for a sleepless night. That is, until I tried THIS bed. I knew that I would love it the moment I unwrapped the protective plastic and sat down on it. It was love at first seat. :D Not only do I sleep through the night (and sometimes my alarms), but I actually wake up feeling rested and not in pain. I like how the cover feels cool to the touch, and the mattress itself has enough firmness to keep me aligned, but the softness to sink in a bit to really get that cozy feeling. Even the dogs love it! :D The only thing that I wasn't a big fan of, and it's mostly dissipated, was the smell. Once unwrapped, it does have a bit of a chemical smell that needs to air out, but is definitely not a deal-breaker! *I received this mattress in exchange for my honest and open review.

I did not intend to buy a foam mattress. In fact I was against it because of my experience years ago. I'm still not sure why I purchased a Tempur-pedic, but I am glad I did. I was ready to send it back after a few nights because it sleeps totally different from a regular mattress. But I decided to give it a fair shot and wow! I am sleeping all through the night with no pressure point pain in the mornings. I am getting a good, restful nights sleep and waking up feeling good again. No back aches, neck aches, hip aches. I wouldn't have believed it.. but I do now.

My husband and I LOVE this bed! I was very hesitant about buying an adjustable bed let alone a hybrid but, this bed has turned me into a believer. This has been the best sleep I've had in years! My lower back and shoulders don't hurt in the morning. I love that my body cushioned by the mattress. It's soft enough for me yet hard enough for my husband and you don't sink down like a traditional memory foam bed. I love that it has cooling built into the mattress. Hoping this mattress lasts for 10-15 years like I've heard.
