great

The headphones are a bit heavy and a little pricey, but other than that, it’s been my favorite accessory. I use it for almost everything, like travel , gym , studying, and just listening to audio. The noise cancellation is amazing, and everything down to the Apple ecosystem is amazing.

Heavy Duty Sound with a Real-World Connection

With two daughters, ages 11 and 13, the house isn't exactly a library. Between their music and whatever they’re watching, I needed a way to reclaim some quiet. I picked up the Midnight version of the AirPods Max with the USB-C port, and after putting them through their paces, I’m giving them five stars. They do exactly what I need them to do, which is provide high-quality sound and cut out the background noise of a busy household. The build quality is the first thing you notice. These don't feel like toys; the stainless steel and aluminum have a weight and a precision to them that you just don't get with plastic headsets. The noise cancellation is top-tier. When I put these on, the chaos of the living room just vanishes. I also appreciate the physical controls. Using the digital crown to adjust volume or click through tracks is much better than fumbling with touch-sensitive panels that never seem to work right when your hands are moving. The switch to USB-C is a huge plus too, since it means one less cable to keep track of around the house. On the downside, these things are heavy. You definitely feel the weight on your head after an hour or two. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it's something to keep in mind if you plan on wearing them all day. The price is also a major sticking point. At over five hundred dollars, you’re paying a massive premium for the brand and the build. Is it a good value? If you're looking for the cheapest way to hear music, absolutely not. But if you value a product that feels like a serious piece of equipment and integrates perfectly with your other gear, the cost is easier to swallow. For me, the peace and quiet they provide in a house full of kids makes them worth every cent.

Great headphones if purchased on sale

So I got extremely lucky and got this on a cyber Monday deal for $400. I love these headphones and they sound amazing. They could be a little bit louder, but I’m not complaining the noise cancellation is amazing and I’m gonna be really upset if they release a second generation within the next year. I use these while I’m at home and I definitely use them wired to my ROG Xbox ally X. However, I do recommend waiting for them to come on sale and not spending full price.

Nice job Apple, these are full featured, quality,

What can you say? Expensive? Yes! Quality? Yes! Full of features? Yes! It's exactly what you'd expect from Apple and they do not disappoint. The integration with your phone, and Apple TV box is amazing. The ear cup pads have a fabric cover, not vinyl or leather and that is much appreciated. Only headphones I know of that have that. PLUS you can connect your phone to the headphones with USB C cable and get lossless audio from at least Apple Music. I can tell the difference, it sounds better albeit most won't care or notice.

Best Headphones

This is my son‘s second pair of Apple AirPods Max headphones. For some reason, the first pair quit working and he took good care of them. I will probably try to get them repaired as a back up. This was a Christmas gift for him as he is 18 years old and he doesn’t ask for anything so we splurged on a new pair. They are terrific headphones, and really block out the noise from around you.

I have always wanted the APM but I didn’t want to spend too much money on them I currently have the AirPods 4ANC, so I was happy with them. After reading too many reviews and videos I ended up buying them and I can’t regret it, the sounds is great, the quality of the materials too and some people say they’re heavy but I find them relatively normal in weight. After playing around and listening music, music, etc. I just love them, when I put on the AirPods 4 ANC I miss the sound that the APM provides. I know they are other better brands like Sony or Boss but I am not an audiophile and the fact that the AMP integrate in the apple ecosystem soo well make me just love them. The color by the way is besides, It could be girly for a man but purple is my favourite colour so I am rocking them.

Warranty expired months before I received them

The Apple app shows the 1 year warranty already expired 3 months before I received them. The headphone battery was at 1% from sitting in storage too long and wouldn't change even after being plugged in for hours. I needed to hold down the buttons for 30 seconds multiple times to factory reset and get them to charge.

Don’t buy

When I got them they wouldn’t charge last 1%. However we did end up getting them to charge. But honestly I wouldn’t buy again. Not worth the money. To have a brand new set of headphones and when I look at Apple it said I had no warranty either. Very disappointing

$100 Sound Quality for $500 because, IDK. Reasons?

I'll keep it concise: Pros: Great build quality, transparency mode is outstanding, noise cancellation is great. Cons: Poor audio quality (at $400 price range), they weigh too much, the ear cushions irritate my skin (but your mileage may differ), the included "case" is useless, and anyone not using an iOS/iPadOS/Mac lose basic functionality that's expected of headphones in this price range (pausing when removing headphones, spacial audio, firmware updates. TLDR: Get some Sony XM5s and pocket the $200 you saved.

Upon opening and trying to connect it was apparent that I was operating a *used* pair of headphones. They will not charge or hold a charge and come up on my device as someone else's headphones. Highly disappointed as these were an enormous splurge for me!
