you'll near freeze your limb off if you're too close. not necessarily a bad thing. works really well. somewhat quiet and cools down my 1100 square foot home.

I had to remove the cover due to my error but broke all the tabs holding the cover on in the process. Also very noisy in the living room we have to turn the sound up on the tv so it can be heard over the air conditioner. Never buy anything else from this company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had mine for a few days, it works great when it's not tripping the breaker. Installed it to a dedicated outlet on its own 20 amp breaker but it pops the breaker at least once a day. Thought these only needed 12 amps ?

product works great but it did come in damaged on the coils. would have been more trouble to try and return than to deal with the bent coils.
