Air conditioner works great, cools area for kitchen dining and living room, 25x30. However, the brackets for holding the air conditioner in place are not designed to hold the weight of the equipment, it caused my window to bow. Had to buy a support bracket that will support up to a 160 pound unit and install it to carry the weight of 127 pounds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we purchased this the weather suddenly turned cool so we only had a day or two using it, but, we like the fact that the fan doesn't run constantly. When it reaches the set temperature it completely shuts down and turns off the fan and all and it starts when the temperature is below the set point. It runs quietly. The remote works great. We had ours installed through the wall rather than in a window and it looks great.

I built a box inside my garage to house the AC so it's not visible from outside. It took some work to build & insulate my garage. But it has great airflow & cools as well as my house

First ac had small dent and sounded like an old freight train and no side panels had to return. Spent $10 on packing tape since come with bottoms of boxes not attached and 45 min on phone, heavy had 2 people carry out of house to porch for FedEx, had to reschedule installation, then wait for next one and huge dent, thank God it worked or I would have lost it! Could be Fed Ex but box wasnt crushed.....so if it works its fine but dont think I'll chance a large purchase again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old AC was on its last leg. We needed to purchase a new one and we needed at least 15000 btu..we liked that it was an LG, so we took a shot, it was the best thing we could have done...looks good, is quiet our old one was so loud. we love it.

Relatively quiet - seems effective. It hasn't been really hot as yet but, I think it will be capable. ECO feature was a little un-nerving at first (It shuts down then starts back up periodically) but, as the compressor(?) doesn't 'clunk, I think it's fine.

We often refer to it as the Sauna during our summer 100+ temps with 80%+ humidity, I have replaced my second floor units with home run hitter in window AC's (I currently own 3 LG window AC's two 18000 btu's and 1 6,000). Even when the quiet and high efficiency units just keep it cool. My Family loves it and so do I.

Quiet unit and blows very cold. But when set on economy, the unit cycles on and off up 3 to 4 times a minute. That seems odd. I get that it's supposed to cycle on and off, but on for 15 seconds off for 10 and on again for another 20 seconds. How is that saving any money? And it sure gets annoying.

Installed unit myself at one end of mobile home and sure glad I did. Central unit hardly ever came on even on the hottest days which made a big difference in my electric bill. This unit is quite and almost maintenance free. Great purchase.
