Too loud, doesn't cool well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this window unit in May and since day 1 it has been a huge disappointment. When I turn it on the motor is so loud and some sort of weird noise is coming from the inside. Also, while it does cool it's just not enough. The unit is fairly large and it should be able to cool a room quickly but instead it cools for a while and then warm air starts coming out. Very upset with this purchase!
