it is louder than the 12000 btu I had in our kitchen, but when its 110 outside it's stil freezing cold in the house. We are very pleased with our purchase.

Out of the box: Does not work. LG Tech diagnosed as having a bad compressor. Today: May 29,the, 2023. Waiting on parts since April 6th, 2023. No Stars Review will not Post.

This replaced another unit of the same size, so installation was easy. It works well cooling my shop, and all the controls do what they say. All it has to do now is LAST longer than a year or two.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a window in my bedroom. I'm very glad that I did. It was an exceptional value. LG has earned my respect over the years and now it's the first brand I research.

The unit itself is really nice. Easy to install. But the faceplate is held on my tiny plastic clips. And I broke every one. It's now held on by duct tape. Why too expensive for how poorly constructed it is.
