I like Boost to supplement additional protein into my diet, although, i do wish it had a little less sugar. I think it would taste just as fantastic as a reduced sugar option. But i would recommend this drink. I was very happy with the taste and texture not gritty or chalky.

Wow, it really tastes great, nice texture and no bad aftertaste. My nausea went away and I felt rejuvenated. Excellent way to "boost" your body - nutrients and protein without a lot of calories. I will definitely buy.

I've tried protein drinks in the past and they usually come in chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. Drinking this out of the bottle, my first sense was an overload of minerals or a protein smell. It's hard to describe, but it was off-putting. Continuing to drink, I realized that the drink is smooth, and that the mocha flavor is just right. If you can get used to the smell of it at first, then I think you'll enjoy the mocha flavor as you get a great dose of protein for your day!

I enjoy drinking this when I am on the go and want the extra nutrition and energy. My mom drinks it to help her body heal after breaking her hip. We both find it delicious. The Rich chocolate is amazing! I have even poured this in a bowl to freeze and eat as "ice cream". Yummy! This product does contain milk and soy so if you are sensitive to either of those it might not work for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend!

Normally stuff like this is chalky tasting but I have to say that this was pretty smooth and I like the taste of it. I gave it 4 stars because I tasted the Cafe Mocha flavor and did not care at all for it but I dont like mocha in general so feel I would have really enjoyed a different flavor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both the texture and taste of this Boost Balanced Nutritional Drink Muscle Health and Energy Very Vanilla shake it's everything you want in a muscle/energy shake. With 20 g of protein and 27 vitamins and minerals this Boost Balance Nutritional Drink Muscle Health and Energy Very Vanilla shake is to die for, to be honest I thought that it was going to taste chalky and crappy. I was surprised!.

I have to drink Boost every day for nutritional needs, and although I do not have arthritis, I find the new seal on the top to be VERY difficult to remove. One bottle slid and all of the contents splashed all over my counter. The bottle is sealed by the outer plastic covering. Can anyone tell me why the new seal is in place, and if it is for safety reasons, is it ok to drink any Boost I buy that doesn't yet have the hideous new seal? Other than that, I love the product's taste, but have been considering going back to Ensure, which I can open, and I don't want to, since I like Boost's flavor better, but not if I have to fight to get into the bottle.
