This is my 3rd Tempur-Pedic mattress, as the others tended to be transported into guest rooms for their enjoyment! I have had multiple knee surgeries, sinus, Achilles' tendon issues. I hike over 100 miles per month. I started out with the original mattress about 2006, then switched to a softer one 5 years later after surgery. I moved recently and sold the mattresses, and everyone wants to buy even a used Tempur-Pedic mattress. I bought the Pro-Adapt because of my activity and age (66). Love it. Never disappointed in their mattresses. I advise to go into a store, take an hour and try out the varieties. You won't be disappointed. Invest in yourself and your body.

We purchased a Pro-Adapt Firm, knowing we have 90 days to try it and purchase a different model if that one didn't work for us. After a month, we decided to upgrade. The payment system was apparently down and it took a week to get through to anyone to process the payment. We paid over $2,000 more for the upgrade over a month and a half ago. We still have not received the mattress. I've spent 3.5 hours on the phone on various holds over a couple days, only to be told that the delivery company for some reason has not scheduled the delivery. I was told I would get an answer on this and a delivery date within 24 hours. This was a week ago and I am now on the phone again, trying to get through to someone. I've been on hold for ___ minutes so far and still no one was picked up. I'm on an endless loop of an automated message. Do not buy from Tempurpedic online. If I had to do it over again, I would not buy from them at all. This has been incredibly frustrating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattress is extremely comfortable and in combination with the mechanized lifts it makes for a truly wonderful combination to maximize both sleep and reading or using the tablet. Sleep mode is incredibly comfortable, especially combined with the tempurpedic pillow. This is a bed we use as a relaxation escape from everyday stress. It is truly wonderful. Highly recommend. Sweet dreams.

We have had the ProAdapt Soft mattress for almost 1 month (January-February) and we are still getting used to it. Initially the mattress was hard as a rock. We put an electric blanket on top and increased the thermostat to 72 degrees to help "break it in" and it took 3.5 weeks but it is now "somewhat soft". It appears to get much warmer throughout the night when compared to the memory foam we previously had.

Is taking me a while to "break in" the mattress. I feel sad because after almost three months my mattress still doesn't feel soft and confortable. On the other hand, I was sick on bed for a week, and I never experienced back pain as I have before with other mattresses after being on bed for that long. Me está costando acostumbrarme al colchón. Me da pena porque después de casi tres meses, mi colchón todavía no se siente suave y cómodo. Por otro lado, estuve enferma en cama por una semana y nunca experimenté dolor de espalda como en otras ocasiones con otros colchones después de estar en cama tanto tiempo.

Not only did we pick the right size (king), but we also selected the best, most bought mattress in the USA. We also loved the fact the it is made in Kentucky (where my husband is from). We had no idea that we could sleep so soundly EVERY night. Sometimes we go to bed early because it is so comfortable. I find myself taking a nap on it instead of the couch. This mattress is quality made and should be the last we have to buy.

Nice mattress, and I love the removable cover. I do not recommend the firm mattress if you turn in your sleep or sleep on your side often. I wake with a stiff spine and sore shoulder and hip joints if I cannot remain on my back all night. It's decently comfortable although it is not what I expected.

We have owned 3 TEMPUR- PEDIC mattresses, our first one purchased in 2004. It was the best mattress we ever owned. I would like to see the old ones brought back. Next one was too soft, so we bought this one. For me, it's too hard and too high. We are getting older and it's hard to get in bed with the height. We own an adjustable base, would like to see a base that allows me to control how high the bed is.

This mattress is way too hard it's like you sleeping on top of a exam table. They tell me was hard because it wasn't broken so they told me I need to walked on it so I did for weeks then they told me it was hard because my house was cool so I put a heating blanket on it I've had it nine months and the bed is just as hard as the day buy it... I HATE this mattress.....
