I needed a mattress that could be used with an adjustable bed. The smell was a problem. I took the cover off down to the form core, opened the window, used a fan on high, and aired it out for one week. Then when I slept on it I started sweating to the point I had to sleep on another bed. It is not the mattress for me.

Our mattress was approximately 15 years old. We always had a topper over the pillow top but as in previous comments, the back knows. Couldn't handle it anymore and since we had slept on a relative with no problem decided on a tempurpedic. We decided on the pro-adapt medium hybrid. Once the sales lady turned on the remotes we were hooked. Now every night we fall asleep vibrating and it is so sweet! Love the cooling pillows and ordered the 2 for 1 sheets not too happy with those. They wrinkle!

We went with the Temper-ProAdapt Soft for both of us....We love them. More comfortable than our old mattress! We ordered them directly with Tempur-Pedic, and have had a great experience. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have slept on the Tempur pro adapt medium for 5 nights. I have never slept on a mattress like this before now. I had another brand that is basically springs and a little padding. The Tempur pro adapt forms around my body. It has the right amount of support but also the softness to be comfortable. It had been year's since I had slept through the night. Now I can say that I get a full 8 hours of sleep. My husband said its the most comfortable mattress he has ever owned. I go to bed before him and I don't even feel the movement from him getting into bed. I can actually feel a temperature difference in the new bed. It also comes with a washable cover. The only negative I have is the weight of the mattress. It definitely takes two people to move the mattress around but how often would you move a mattress around your room? Overall I am excited to have this mattress and I would recommend the Tempur pro adapt. Everyone should enjoy a restful nights sleep. We spend a good portion of our lives in bed. It should be comfortable. One more positive about this mattress. I use to have hip pain and I haven't experienced it since sleeping on this mattress. Take a chance and experience it for yourself.

We just got our mattress delivered today and cannot wait to use it for the first time! I know we need to give it about 30 days to fully adjust and be comfortable, but so far it looks and operates well! We haven't been sleeping well at all for days now and I know it will be a wonderful experience!

The ProAdapt Medium hybrid is the perfect blend of contouring memory foam and support. The hybrid prevents the feeling of sinking too far into the bed, especially when doing things like sitting in the bed and watching TV. Hands down the best mattress I have ever slept on.

This is by far the best bed I did ever bad. I normally have back issues that keep me from sleeping through the night but that is quickly becoming a thing of the past now. I'm also taking more naps during my days off. This mattress is awesome. It definitely did take about two weeks to fully break in, as it was extremely firm at first.

From an engineer & doctor couple... this is our 2nd Tempur-pedic and it just keeps getting better with age, no kidding. Our 1st, a queen bought in 2012, is going to one of the kids, because we upgraded to a king. The only problem with this brand is you get so spoiled that traveling becomes a chore knowing no hotel, cruise, or other family member's mattress will be as comfortable; unless of course its a Tempur-pedic. Find one on-sale and pull the trigger; you won't be disappointed. Also, don't be afraid to go for the firm level.

I love my Tempur Pedic mattress. Despite the fact that its a sauna, my good I'm sweating all the night. I'm buying cooling pads to see if i can refresh myself. Saying that, i think its the best mattress i ever own my back has gone from imposible pain to no pain at all. For this reason i will definitely recommend this mattress.

Bought this mattress with hopes of eliminating pain in my hips and my back. All it has done it made worse. I also wake up with numbness in my tailbone area and my entire back hurts. Cannot get comfortable and am unable to sleep for more than a few hours at a time on it. Also the mattress retains way too much heat regardless of room temperature. Will not be buying another Tempur pedic mattress and frankly can't wait to get rid of this one and find a different brand.
