I have lost so much sleep trying to adjust to this bed as a side sleeper. It makes me feel stuck in place in the shoulder area and I have been tossing every night and waking with numbness and tingling in my hands. It feels comfortable if I lay on my stomach or back but I am a side sleeper. I thought it would help my shoulder and hip pain but it has not worked for me. It does not align my body, it makes me feel like my head is higher than my shoulders. I called after having it for a week and not sleeping and was told I had to follow the company policy and keep it for 30 days before making a return. I'm in week three now and have not had one restful night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Favorite feature is the zero gravity and super helpful to receive a well rested sleep. I would cough a lot at night. After being able to elevate my sleep I am able to sleep the full 8 hours with no interruptions from coughing.

This replaces our old Tempurpedic which was firm and original product. I have herniated discs in my lower back and my sleep has improved by at lest 75% since getting our new mattress. I can't expect a mattress to fix my back but it has fixed my sleep. I'm very happy.

My wife and I had our last Tempur-Pedic mattress for about 20 years, so we were concerned at the change. We went with the Pro-Adapt Firm because it reminded us the most of our previous mattress and are so glad we did. Something about the combination of firmness + the slight give of the Tempur-Pedic material makes for an amazing comfort. We have not had an uncomfortable night's sleep since we got it almost a month ago.

I bought the pro-adapt after trying several other mattresses over the past 3 years. I have arthritis and some fibromyalgia and have tried my best to use diet and exercise to manage it, but I was feeling worse and worse each morning. I was trying not to spend as much money but the mattress I purchased 3 yrs ago was a firm plush regular style and I knew after about a year that it wasn't working. I thought I'd get used to it....not! Finally decided I needed a new mattress and this time it would be super firm. I went and tried as many as I could and when I layed on the tempurpedic I didn't want to get up. I was encouraged to take 15-20 min to see if it was for me. I was also encouraged to get the medium but I was convinced I needed the firm. Unless you have back/bone issues that like the firm, I would definitely get the medium. I ended up getting a 3" tempurpedic topper until the mattress is fully broken in. I wake up with about 85-90% less pain and stiffness! I'd definitely recommend if you have any pressure point issues too. It's like a warm hug to my bones, but with lots of support so I feel like I've sunk into a cushioned yet firm mattress cloud! Best purchase by far!

When I tried the mattress in the store it for a firm but yet soft enough for me. When I got a new mattress at home it was hard as a rock and sleeping on it actually hurt my back. I was truly disappointed for spending so much money and not getting what I tried out in the store.

I've slept on tempur-pedic mattress for over ten years now. i owned my first mattress for nine years, and my back started hurting. so last year i go over to a mattress store near my home, cause i know the brand i want. i tell the sells rep, I've have some back issues in the past. i need a new mattress !! so she tells me about the really firm mattress that temur-pedic , but there is no display in the store. i bought it base on her word, and my prior temur-pedic mattress. i haven't had a good night sleep since I've had this mattress!! its remains very very hard!! i wake feeing like I've played football all night. SORE all over. :(

Prior to purchasing our Tempurpedic, I had lower back pains from our cheap traditional spring mattress. With our new Tempurpedic ProAdapt Firm mattress, my back pain is completely gone now. I sleep so well and wake up re-energized. We also purchased the tempur brand sheets and they make a world of a difference! I love how the memory foam slowly conforms to your body and cradles you like a baby. The mattress is worth every penny spent and I will be buying only tempurpedic memory foam mattresses moving forward.

The cooling feature makes it extremely comfy and cool to the touch creating a great night's sleep. We Simply love the great sleep we are getting! Would not buy any other kind.

I normally do not do reviews but this weekend, we visited the Frontenac store in Ladue,MO. Corinne- our sales associate was awesome. From the time we arrived and explained we were trying to learn about their beds, their bases, she took it from there. Had great questions from both of us, wanted to understand our sleep regiment and from there began demo process on various mattresses and bases. Great experience. We have never owned a mattress like this before and can't wait to experience it. Corrinne made this a great experience and it was a true pleasure working with her. We left there Saturday, talked about it and returned Sunday. Had a few more questions, tested bed again and guess what- made the purchase.Thank you for everything you did for us as I would highly recomend her to anybody in the St.Louis area that is ready to make a change in their mattress but maybe their sleep style to receive the best night ever.
