Bring Back MM Wild Caught Double Strength Fish Oil
On Two different occasions I have tried to take these triple strength fish oil, after just a couple of days, about 3 hours after taking daily I would get a 4 hour Headache each day. Quit taking No more headaches, on 2 Different occasions this would happen daily until discontinued both times. It was this fish oil.
Tilapia is generally a farm pond raised fish, not a limited wild caught fish. This is a Tilapia Salmon combination, proportion is not listed. Wild caught Salmon is a much Healthier better choice.
Why have a potent over powering pure lemon essential oil taste or any other additive flavoring for that matter, to mask a Good Quality natural Fish Oil? A good quality fish oil should not need to be masked with essential oil additives or anything else.
The Member Mark minis (single Strength?) have only EPA 330mg and DHA is blank zero that they contain. DHA is as or more important for fish oil supplements. This is very Sad! I have given both of these a try, but they are not satisfactory.
I have taken the Double Strength Member Mark fish oil for years and years, even before peppermint or lemon essential oil additives, and when the fish oils went on sale they were always the first one to sell out! So I know I was not the only one that liked this quality wild caught salmon fish oil with EPA 324mg and DHA 216mg per 1 soft gel!
I hope the Sam's Buyers read these Reviews and more importantly, Act on these Reviews! I have bought vitamins and supplements from Sam's for years, I depend on the Member Mark Quality and value! but I am afraid that these 2 have fell short and I am going to have to look Elsewhere for my Fish oil Supplements.

Regarding the Member’s Mark Triple Strength Fish oil, we are sorry to hear that you experienced headaches. This product contains only oil extracted from Wild-Caught Alaskan Walleye Pollock, the same beneficial oil as was found in the Double Strength Fish Oil you enjoyed.

Tilapia is not mixed in with that oil. Tilapia is only present as the source of gelatin in the softgel shell. This allows us to offer a product without the more common beef- or pork-derived gelatin, making it suitable for pesco-vegetarians and other members who do not eat beef or pork. This is also true of the Member’s Mark Minis (360mg Omega3).

Regarding the lemon oil in both the 900mg Triple Strength and the 360mg Omega Minis (and was also present in the Double Strength product), we have heard that most members do not taste the lemon. As the oil is processed very quickly after the fish are caught, we do not expect consumers to experience a fishy taste, or “burp-up.” However, for those few who do, they may taste lemon instead of fish.

Regarding the Minis, we understand how the Supplement Facts can be confusing. One small softgel contains 600mg of concentrated fish oil, providing the same 360mg of beneficial Omega-3 fatty acids as one larger softgel containing 1200mg of non-concentrated fish oil. Of the 360mg Omega-3s, 330mg is a combination of EPA and DHA. As the proportion of EPA to DHA naturally varies from batch to batch of oil, we do not specify individual levels for each of those, but we do assure, via analytical testing, that the claim of 360mg total Omega-3s is met.

Regarding the discontinuation of MM Wild Caught Double Strength Fish Oil, you are not alone. We have heard from other members that they also miss the lower-dose fish oil containing additional Vitamin D3.
