Received my DELTA 2 and 220W bifacial solar panel a few days ago. Also purchased the extension cable for the solar panel (the cables included with the panel would have been everything I needed, but I wanted some additional length). The shipping process was fast (about a week) and I received good notifications on progress. Both the DELTA 2 and the solar panel appear to be good quality, and initial tests align with the expectations I had based on the product advertising. My original plan was to use the product mostly as an easier source of emergency in-home power than my gas-powered generator, but I'm now thinking of some other potential uses as well (UPS/backup for sump pump, power in the far corners of the property, an occasional picnic or camping trip, etc). I'm not sure I'll be using the phone app given the potential security risks of hooking an emergency power supply to an internet connected device. So far, I'm very happy with my decision to purchase the products.

Picked up the Delta 2 just in time to put it to the test in a power outage. Ran a full size refrigerator in the garage for several hours at an ambient temperature of about 60 F. Plan to pick up the extra battery for extra insurance or to run a freezer as well. Charging from AC was lightning fast but a bit noisy. Hope a firmware update in the future can help with the fan speed. Couldn't be easier to set up and get going, plug and play. Highly recommended!

I bought my Delta 2 bundled with the 160w solar panel and a 220w bifacial solar panel at the end of Nov. 2022. Ihave gone through 7 generators in 4 years living in SE Oklahoma. My delta 2 can fun my unefficient old apartment sized refrigerator freezer combo for about 8 hours. It can run my 5000 btu ac window unit for 2 hours. We tested it out on a friends older toaster oven using 1800w and it did great. This time of year is easy because it isn't hot and we use wood and propane to heat and cook. I was thinking about getting the delta max extra smart battery but they are sold out of them, even the refurbished. After a little thought though, I have decided to buy a second unit because it can be used independently from the first where the batteries cannot. I have had an issue though with mentioning. My power station was at home while I worked. There was nothing being plugged into the unit. For some reason it was flashing over load when I arrived home. It would not take a Chaffee of any kind from the solar panels. For 3 days I went without any power worried that i could damage it worse somehow. I chatted with technical support. Nothing they offered did any good. I decided to discharge the battery all the way down and see if i couldn't get it to rest because they didn't include a hard reset on the delta 2. The screen said I had 1 minute at 1 percent. I ran this thing for 4 hours using everything i could find to plug in. Finally it went down. After a couple of minutes I set up to charge at a friends house using the wall plug. It took the charge at half the normal charging speed. I plugged in his ac and it drew 800 watts and the delta 2 vgargubg watts went up to tge normal 1350 watts. I disconnected the ac and it continued charging at 1300+. I used it and it worked as normal. Only now every time I charge by electrical plug I have to temporarily plug in something to pull enough watts to raise how high the delta 2 charging watts go. Today is the first sunny day I've had that I'll be able to test the solar panels again to see how they do. Otherwise my unit is fine. So use your common sense. The support people aren't helpful immediately but will get you to the right people to talk to. I still recommend the delta 2 for everything it can handle. And by ordering a second unit it will help me cover what the extra battery would have given me the power to do. But I have the ability to use it/charge it seperately. The peace of mind that if something happened to 1 them the other could get me through until the issue was fixed. And I will be able to power twice as much if need be. Happy shopping! Purchased this Delta 2 about a week ago and have had a few days to play around with it. Really nice so far. Got it as a gift for my mom for power outages. It was able to power her full size refrigerator overnight. I plan on using solar panels to recharge but haven't had a chance to test yet. From what I've seen on other reviews it doesn't seem we'll have a problem.

I love my new Delta 2. The Delta 2 is a second generation update of the original Ecoflow Delta 1300. It's many improvements include longer lasting much safer LFP Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, an expansion battery port, more solar input (500W) and an even faster charging time than before. They have made many noticeable improvements under the hood as well, integrating circuit boards to cut costs and keep the same weight (LFP batteries are heavier!), improving efficiency - yet the Delta 2 is less expensive than the original Delta 1300! 
I have two Delta 1300's from the original kickstarter campaign - they really revolutionized the solar generator business and set a standard all the legacy companies have since been trying to catch up with. Before Ecoflow solar generators looked not unlike modified gasoline generators - that is industrial and clunky. But the Delta 2 like the rest of the line, look much more friendly, they blend ergonomically into any home environment rather than looking out of place like they really belong in the garage. 
But the killer feature has been the fast charging. The group of 20 somethings that founded Ecoflow had worked at drone maker DJI together, and observed the biggest pain factor was how long it took to recharge batteries. And so they figured out fast flash recharging in under 2 hours, 1.6 hours on the original Delta. The new Delta 2 can flash recharge now even faster than the original, in an hour and 20 minutes, all Ecoflow solar generator charge in under 2 hours, even in an hour for some, yet there are still competitors out there that take over 10 hours plugged into the wall. 
I did observe that when the Delta 2 is cool it charges a lot faster. Checking the internal temperature with the phone app to be 96°f, it charged at near 1200 watts on the meter, slowing down a bit at 80%, eventually fully charging in exactly an hour and 20 minutes as advertised. However if you discharge it at a very high output it heats up the batteries (I did a torture test and ran it at 1200 watts flat to 0%, with a hair drier in 30 minutes.) Then you have to let it cool down before it will recharge. After a cool down rest period, the still somewhat warm Delta 2 charged at a steady 600 watts the whole way. It took a little longer at 2 hours, but no complaint here. 
Great improvements, nice price point, expandable, lasts longer. If you are a fan of these kind of devices - you will love your new Delta 2 too I think!


I researched all the options available and made the decision to purchase the EcoFlow Delta 2 portable power station. I have not been disappointed. This device is much more than a tool for dealing with power outages. I have used it daily, even during a real-world power outage and it has performed flawlessly each time I have used it. I purchased it as a bundle with the 220-watt portable bifacial solar panels several months ago. I've only had a few really good days of sun to test the panels, but I've been really impressed with the power these solar panels have produced to date. I can't recommend these EcoFlow products more. I think the Delta 2 hits the sweet spot for most people, you just can't beat the LFP battery chemistry, great app, and the 5-year warranty. I also like the fact that you can pick up the Delta 2 without throwing your back out. You just can't beat it.

Bought this to back up our fridge and run our gas furnace. Great set of features, and being able to plug it into a transfer switch opens up a world of opportunities. "Kelley's Country Life" on YouTube provides a great setup to run this like an automatic backup system. Few things that will make this product go from great to awesome: 1. Power input and output trending. A running graph of 24 hours usage in the app will help understand consumption and charging trends. 2. Provide the charging cable for the solar panels. I bought two rigid panels with this, but had to wait a week to get the cables. 3. Low power devices don't show usage, the device times out. Charging my smart watch shows output of 0W, so device turns off after the set timeout. I have to change the settings if I want to charge the watch fully.

The DELTA 2 and the DELTA 2 extra battery are solid units. Easy to charge, easy to hook and be ready for an emergency. I’ve run my 26.8 cubic foot refrigerator without any problems. Charging both is easy and quick. Using the EcoFlow app to monitor the units during use and charging is very helpful. I’ve also recommend this setup to my friends.

After months of reviewing various companies and their systems, we went with the EcoFlow Delta 2. We got two units, one for upstairs, one for downstairs, and a battery backup and a solar panel. When we received it, we literally opened the box, plugged it in, and very quickly (well under an hour?), it was fully charged! Truly a plug and play. The units are light enough to pick up and move around without a problem and to store in a small place. We haven't tried the battery backup or solar panels yet, but by every indication it will be a simple procedure as well. I love knowing that we can keep basics going now during a power outage, and have enough power to last quite a while, while being able to use the solar panels to recharge the units. If you feel intimated like we did, this is for you! Our next step will be to work up to a Pro for a whole house system, but until then we feel this was the best option for performance and price.

This is a great compact generator. I bought this to use as a emergency backup for my refrigerator also to use for my portable car dual zone refrigerator. So far Ecco flo delta 2 has been great . The only thing I wish was that the handles was folded in the top of the unit which would cut down on the length of the unit. I find myself using it more than I had planned.
