It does work well as a power source, but if you want it to keep your pc running when the power goes out...it does not...when the power goes out the back up power takes over, but the split second during the switch powers down your pc...so not a good choice for keeping your pc running contiuously during power outages.

Not enough to run my whole house; but, certainly makes me feel better to know I can run the fridge and furnace if needed for a day or more (not counting solar recharging).

I hate that every time you turn on the unit from the front control panel, you have to reach behind to push a little button that is hard to find so you can turn on the 120 volt power. I bought this to power up our Christmas Lights in our fifth wheel slide out that has no 120volt power in the slide. the thing that sucks, we push it way back to hide the Delta-2 and all the cables. it is easy to turn it off at night as it turns off with the push of the main power button.. the nightmare in when we need to pull it all the way back out every day to try and hunt down the 120 volt power button. PLEASE CHANGE THIS ON FUTURE UNITS.

The order process was simple and easy and the products arrived in a timely manner. I have not had a lot of time to play with it yet but I charged it to 100% then plugged in a 1500 watt space heater and let it run till the battery said 7% , waited a while then charged it back up again, worked like a charm, simple and easy to use and understand. I have not had a chance to try the Solar panel yet due to sub zero temperatures and clouds and snow, I am pretty sure that it will work just fine though. Seems like a great product and a great company, I will probably purchase a second battery and Solar panel when money...

I have a river 2 max for my CPAP, and already had a EF220 watt solar panel for that, so when I got the D2 I purchased a second 220w portable panel. Charging from the grid, solar, or an inverter generator is pretty quick and easy. I can now run my refrigerator, small chest freezer, and CPAP with plenty of extra capacity for “comforts” and have more options than just firing up a generator (which isn’t always easy or convenient, and definitely not quiet).
