I had to replace my old mattress as I could never get comfortable and never slept well through the night. I went to many stores and tried out so many beds. This mattress was by far the most comfortable to me and my aches and pain. I have a bad neck, shoulders, back, and hips. I was worried to spend so much on a bed, but took a leap of faith and I'm so glad I did. I sleep so well despite all my aches and pains because the mattress conforms to me. I definitely thought at first that it was not the right bed for me, but after a week, it seemed to break it and it's been perfect sense! I owe my better sleep to Tempurpedic!

I have arthritis and this mattress helps alleviate the pressure on my hips and knees. I was worried about the mattress holding heat, but it doesn't. It took about a month to get used to it, but I don't think I'll ever go back to a traditional mattress.

It's a firm mattress that does give with your body. It's a comfortable mattress. The store were we brought the mattress he said I needed to get the high profile base but I have some trouble getting in the bed because I am short. So I think the low profile would have been better for me. It's a very nice mattress.

We decided to save money, then we shopped for a mattress he felt like made him comfortable. We found the Tempur Pedic Adapt in a medium firmness. It's not that we had a huge budget for a mattress, but, sleep in cancer care is vital. So, this was the best choice for him. Our journey has been a long one. I don't have a Tempur Pedic myself, it was best we spent the money on him. I do not regret for one minute the money we spent. It has been well worth it, to see him sleep for at least 5 continuous hours!!!! So, when it comes to health, please, do not spare the expense if it is remotely within your budget.

I do a lot of biking and skiing, so my body feels it at the end of the day, and the purple wasn't up to the task. But the Tempurpedic made an instant impact on my body and my sleep. I track my sleep patterns and there's little movement and I do not wake up at all, which tells me the bed is doing it's job. I feel better than I have in years mentally, so what more could I ask for. LOVE our Tempurpedic mattress! Happy we got the adjustable base as the anti-snore position has really helped. The firmness of the mattress is perfect for us and we look forward to going to sleep every night! The only complaint is that it was a real chore to attach our headboard to the Reverie base. Maybe this would have worked better with a tempurpedic base but those were considerably higher priced.

We've had the Adapt Hybrid for about a month and absolutely love it! I'm a back and side sleeper and my wife is a stomach sleeper, and the firmness is perfect for the both of us. We are also both hot sleeper and this mattress keeps us cool all night. Obviously the Tempurpedic was more expensive compared to some other options we had but I would say it's more than more the extra money.

My only complaint is not having bought this bed sooner. The bed is initially fairly stiff, however after 3-4 weeks it is breaking in very nicely. Actually I have a second complaint, and I hope that it finds tempurpedic employees. While I understand the importance of a mattress protector, it's moderately annoying to have one placed on top of the bed that moves around. You already have a cover that zips on the bed, why not make a protective cover that zips on to the bed? Even if it cost $250 I would buy it in a heart beat to avoid my current cover slipping on the bed every night.

I had a ruptured L5-S1 and a bulging L4-L5 with obvious disc disease. I even found myself sleeping sitting up during chemotherapy treatments. Thirteen years later, my back went out while moving and I noticed my mattress was no longer supporting me. I purchased the new mattress and within 4 days of sleeping on it, I am back to normal. This is a life altering product for me.
