I needed a quality inverter for power during electrical outages. It needed to be quiet and easy to use. This inverter seems to fulfill those requirements. My wife and daughter had no problems starting it. It was quiet enough so that we could carry on a conversation. It had both 110v and USB outlets. It was easy to prepare for storage. Hopefully we won't need it but I believe it will be there for us if we do.

I am new to the use of the generator. I will say I ran for 1 hour to break in and it was very quite. I then loaded with a half fridge and a couple strands of lights and the decibels hardly went up. I ran for 1 hour and it never quit. I purchased for camping and am anxious to try it out more.

I received generator yesterday. Shipping box was trashed by Fedex. After opening the damaged cardboard box the inside with protective foam had kept generator perfect. Filled with oil and ethanol free gas and gen started first pull. Can't beat that. Looking for lots of camping with the igen 2200.

I bought this little generator a couple of weeks ago. While it's not as quiet as some of the other brand's comparable generators, it was also only about 1/4 the cost. It has started on the first pull each time I have used it (4-5 times at least). I love the drain tube that came pre-installed on the carb too! I have no regrets about getting this unit & would definitely recommend it based on my experience with it so far. I do recommend purchasing a magnetic dipstick to use with it to help prevent any issues with any metal shavings you may get in the oil, especially during the break-in period.

I use this generator to power a small freezer, a 32 led tv, 3 fans and some items to recharge (portable battery, cellphones) all at once. One single gallon lasts about ten hours compared with the regular Honda EB 2200 which provides about 9 hours with 2 gallons.

I bought this because my wife is on oxygen 24/7 and would keep her concentrator running during power outage. It does have an issue with rpm's pulsing with or without load. Gen still supplies power needed but pulsing is a nuisance. Contacted tech support and waiting for reply. If problem is resolved will give 5 star.

Good run time, extremely quiet (felt totally comfortable letting it run all night at my campsite). Lightweight, very portable. Only disappointment is Westinghouse included a coupon for a free cover with a register/review, but no longer have any available :-(

After the Texas freeze last Feb we decided to buy a generator to power our refrigerator at the least. Living along the Texas coast is another reason we got this generator. We are campers and have other things like camping stoves to cook with. Bought this generator for the low noise level and will be using it on our camping trips also.

Quick start guide was easy to follow. Added the oil and gas per instructions. Easy pull and start. Plugged my freezer into the generator and ran for approximately 30 minutes. Held the freezer door open to force a refrigeration cycle. Generator powered the load without apparent effort. Since I purchased this as an inexpensive quiet backup generator to handle selected items such as freezer/refrigerator I am very happy thus far. The IGen2500 has additional features such as fuel and power level but I didn't require that.

We just got this for camping. Right now we are only running the one, but may get a second later if we decide to run them in parallel for more power (haven't tried running A/C on just the one yet). So far, so good. Works right out of the box, isn't terribly heavy or loud...can't complain.
