This is my third Westinghouse generator Igen4500 the igen2200 along with a conventional 9k I am off grid the 9k runs my well pump the 4500 runs my RV THE 2200 is for everything in between the inverters are easy quiet and reliable Have a Honda 2200 That's louder than either the 4500 or 2200 and much cheaper in price I'm sold On Westinghouse

I bought this because I wanted a good small generator. Westinghouse claims this is a pure wave inverter generator. So I tested it. I placed this generator on my flat bed trailer, then I bought out oscilloscope. I was impressed with what my oscilloscope showed. This is a very good generator.

I purchased the IGen2200 August of 2020 to use in our Class B RV. I own 4 other gensets, but nothing as quiet or handily portable. (it fits behind the driver's seat) We took it on a trip into Wisconsin and Minnesota using it off and on over 4 weeks. It ran the roof AC & kept the house battery charged with no problem. Again later in November on a 3-day trip, then winterized it. Just now pulled it out, (Oct, 2021) gave it a little fuel, and fired up on the 3rd pull after nearly a year in storage. It runs a long while on a gallon, mat not be quite as quiet as the most expensive units - but nearly so. (I have comparative experience with the pricy red ones..) So, so far, so good! Gave 4 stars for being only slightly louder, but would prefer to give 4.5 as it runs great! Let's see how it lasts over the years with proper care. I've been recommending it to many others. Great generator, but higher maintenance than my previous Predator 2K inverter generator from Harbor Freight. Spark plug was not gaped correctly, had to replace within first week of operation, and air filter seems to soak up a lot of oil even though the generator is firmly placed on a flat level surface. But as long as air filter and spark plug are kept clean and oil changed regularly it seems to run very well.

I got this for a Christmas gift and I just got around to try it out. Added oil and gas and started on the second crank. Ran it for a little than went to eco. Very smooth and quiet. I would of rated it higher but need to run a few gas tanks to rate it higher.

I wasn't expecting this device to start on the first pull, and I thought it would be louder. this generator is amazing, so easy to start and really quiet to be a generator, in my opinion it's almost as quiet as a Honda generator. I haven't test it at full capacity, but once I do I will come back and update the review

Bought this to run Christmas lights on my boat. It was so easy!!! Put the oil in that came with it. Started on the second pul!!! Ran great and one off the quietest generators I've used. Plan on using this a lot for camping so that will make it nice being so quiet. Looking forward to put some long hours on it.

I bought 2 of these for boondocking and so far they are great. They started right up after filling them with oil and have been running great since. The only complaint I have is that the oil filer funnel broke on one when I filled the motor with oil.

I bought this unit to prepare for upcoming power outages. Right off the bat I noticed the quietness of the unit. I let it run for about 30 minutes and then went inside to tell my wife. When I asked her if she heard it running, she said, “What generator”. I said exactly, it's very quiet. The quietest generator i ever owned and I'm very pleased with the purchase!

I ordered this generator on Nov 29,2021 and got it four days later as expected. Shipping handled really well, just like I picked it up from the local store. I am running a test right now. No problem setting up and start it right away as instructed. I would definitely recommend to my friends to buy this generator.
