I just got this generator today and it is so simple and user friendly. It gives you the exact amount of oil to pour in, a funnel that screws into the oil fill, tools, and simple instruction manual. I am thoroughly impressed with Westinghouse as I had some doubts initially.

Bought for emergency use (lots of power outages here) plus convenient away-from-the-house power. Sufficient for power tools and quiet enough to leave on the back deck while I watch the big TV in the house instead of on my phone in the dark. 4 stars because I've only owned it for a while - but it seems to be the right stuff.

I have a generator that I purchased years ago that is not an "inverter". It is too large, too heavy, too noisy and has to run at a constant, loud, speed. I was also warned that charging phones, etc. was risky. The iGen2200 will solve all of these problems. I have only used the iGen2200 once, but I was able to get it started quickly. I was able to vac up piles of leaves away from my house without trying to string together multiple extension cords. I am a "gadget guy" and this is a nice gadget.

Like some of the other reviews, my brand new Igen 2200 will not start. I brought it to a Westinghouse service center and they couldn't fix it. The unit was sent back to Westinghouse for replacement. I received an Open Box Item which was clearly used and returned. However, I kept it because the unit works. It took several months to have the unit serviced, returned and replaced. Overall, it's not a pleasant experience.

I bought this about a month ago and am glad I did. It is quiet and will run most of the items I need to support in my shop. I tested it on a vertical 1500 watt heater and it did very nicely. It started the very first pull on the start cord and was very quiet.

Did all the pre-run steps. Started on the first pull of the cord. Nice The cover should come with the unit. Not as a kiss and a promise. kind of like 'click bait'. Would have been glad to advertise your product but will cover it with a plain, white wrapper instead.

I got this yesterday, added oil and gas, turned on, waited a minute or so(gas to carb), pulled once and it STARTED!!! Started a few more times yesterday and today-one pull-started. After reading the literature, I am disappointed that if we need warranty service, we have to get the unit to a warranty service location. Hopefully we won't need the service.

This generator is brand new out-of-the-box and it started right up the first two issues I have is the shut off valve would not turn the motor off as it turns out it was not making contact with the microswitch inside and secondly the fuel valve knob was not secured it simply fell off the generator but other than that it ran fine

Bought for in-laws to run lamps and TV but most importantly an oxygen machine during emergency situations. Great little machine that I can throw in the truck quickly and keep them going QUIETLY!!! This thing is super quiet so it doesn't disturb anyone, even if running all night. Well pleased!!!

I bought this to keep the batteries on my 5th wheel charged and to also run the microwave. It does both as expected. The thing I enjoy the most about it is how quite it is. I set it 10ft off the back corner of my 5th wheel and even with all the windows open I can hardly hear it.
