I have a 4500 DF and wanted a lighter machine that I could tether to it for higher output for the house. Both work great and will be used either camping or as a home backup.

I bought the igen2200 for my camping trips with my trailer. I found it to be easy to carry and store. It's quiet at 67 db four feet away which is "conversation" level. Easy to start and very little maintenance.

Actually this is number 2 and it is everything as good as number 1, waiting for parallel kit to come in and tie them together, twice as much bang for the buck. Extremely pleased.
