I bought this unit to power electronics on construction sites. Its a great product that is quiet and dependable.

Soon as I got I filled it with oil and gas as recommended. It started on the first pull and immediately sounded like it was gonna fly apart in my face. I immediately returned in for a refund and ordered another brand.

received 08/21/2020 filled with supplied oil and new fuel. opened vent and choked. won't start unless I let sit for 10 mins. fires up and dies instantly.acts like carb is obstructed. calling warranty repair tomorrow.

I have had a iGen2500 for a few years and it continues to perform. I have owned iGen2200s in the past and they've been good with 1 having carb issues. I find now that without the data center that comes on most gens this iGen2200 is behind the times as far as features. But the price was right and it's just a pair for my 2500 for when I need extra output.

I have been using this generator for the last 8 months without a hitch. It's been a must to power up my solar power stations on those cloud covered days. For those of you who are new to solar power stations you'll need an inverter generator, something like this model or larger pending on the size of your solar generator. A regular gas, or Propane gen will not work. Here's what I like about this little gen. Starts so easy, one, two pulls at the most. ALWAYS starts up. Reliable.

One cannot get the free bonus generator cover unless you know how to navigate a complicated review and registration process. One must apparently know how to use a third party connection and understand the jargon requested. I do not so am not able to use the site to obtain the cover. Maybe a phone call will suffice? The generator itself looks great but will know more after it gets used. Instructions are very good.
