Only had 2 on the back wheels of a 06 350z. I was able to make it through a MN winter. These tires are great, I plan go with 4 of them next year. Great traction in snow, low noise and nice ride on dry pavement. I would recommend these tires to anyone looking for a great winter tire.

I have always purchased Michelin tires for my 328i BMW. They last and with rotation I have only gone through two sets over the 17 years I have had my low mileage (135K) car. No issues whatsoever. Safe, reliable, smooth ...the best. I would never buy another brand.

I am on my second set and use it the whole year. I live in -5 - +17c climate. The first set was 225/40-18 FR and 255/35-18 rear, sold the wheels and tires after 28k km (plenty left) and went for 4x 255/35 - 19" to cover the RC-F brakes. In my case 35-45k km is about max and that is fine by me.

I'm heading through my second winter on these. On packed snow, I've found them to be truly great. They stop and turn very well. My neighborhood is hilly and doesn't get plowed. Traveling uphill through 6 to 8 inches of snow, there's definitely some wheel slip - but they've always gotten me through the hills and onto plowed roads. Descending steep hills is a non-issue. No sliding at all. A good match for the S4 - they make the pretty much bullet-proof in winter.

I had these tires installed on my 2015 Audi S5 (18” factory wheels) for the South Jersey “Late-Fall to Early-Spring” period where we do not normally see much over 6” on any given snowfall. Over the last several seasons these tire have been tremendous! They are quiet, handle superbly with Audi’s 4wheel drive, offer great traction and stopping — in short, I could not ask for a better winter tire in our type of fall-to-spring driving conditions.

I’ve had these exceptional tires on my Car for 2 seasons now. I’m approaching my 3rd winter. They are simply the best snow tires I’ve owned. If you consider using “all season” tires. I suggest you give your head a shake. You need proper winter tires and these are them

Recommended by my Tuner (Independent Tuning in Toronto). I run Michelin PS4S's in the Summer (also highly recommended) and wanted a Winter Tire that performs - I drive all Winter - moderate snow & black ice (2012 Audi S4 - performance modified). ....these Alpin's are not far off most of the the handling capabilities of the PS4S

Have the Alpin PA4 on two vehicles now and for city living they are great. Feels like driving on summer tires, great in wet and slush and moderate ice. Likely not the best tire for deep snow but living in the city we rarely see that, mostly roads are plowed right away. A great performance winter tire choice.

Great sticky tires in the winter, I drive fast in the winter at zero degrees and can comfortably go 160km/hr instead of my summer's sport cup 2's. Soft and not hard.

Used them one season, going on for a second with less than expected wear for 23,000km on them. Measuring 1/32 of wear so I estimate they will last me about 90,000km
