I have been drinking Jameson for about twenty years now. Every drop has been smooth going down the throat and the beautiful taste of Ireland is on the tongue. Jameson is great any time of day or night. Straight up, or over rocks, you will find Jameson will hold a wonderful flavor no matter how you deliver it to your mouth. The best way to enjoy Jameson is sitting in a local pub and having a good conversation with friends. I also enjoy it alone thinking about my trips to Ireland and getting that small taste of peat smoke way back on my tongue. Hot weather, cold weather, raining or snowing is the best time to sit and savor a wee glass of Jameson.

As a whiskey drinker, Jameson has long been the pinnacle of Irish whiskeys in my glass. In its iconic green bottle it's easily recognizable and familiar. The taste is smooth and the burn is mellow. It can be a little steep for some budgets but often has good sales.

I am not a fan of traditional Jameson. I don't feel that it is full-bodied enough to sip, and taking shots of whiskey is not for me. I prefer something a little more flavorful and a little less harsh. I do not recommend making anything with Jameson, as it just takes away from the other flavors in your cocktail.

Honestly, the only thing I've had this in is called an Irish Car Bomb. It's 8 oz. of Guiness with a shot of Bailey's & Jameson actually dropped into the beer. I've tried to make them myself using an off brand Irish whiskey & they were DISGUSTING. No where near as smooth as the real deal.

My BF loves Jameson, had me try it with Dr Pepper... YUM! Watched a show called The Ranch and i noticed the Jameson bottle. The characters "drank" it straight, so I tried it and pleasantly surprised with how it didn't burn my throat. Needless to say, I love Jameson and it's mine and my BF's "go to" liquor.

My husband and his family are Irish. It's a staple in our house. I don't question this. Friends coming over? Get the bottle. Family coming over? Get the bottle. Celebration? Bottle. Mourning? Bottle. He's more picky about Guinness but Jameson is always here.

A good amount of my friends truly enjoy Jameson but It is not something I would go to the store and buy myself. If It is being served I wouldn't mind grabbing a glass but It honestly isn't a fan favorite for myself. When mixed with a heavy sweet soda like ginger ale it isn't too bad

I once drank 7 shots of this in 30 minutes and blacked out for the night, had to have my head held into the toilet, and peed on my friend while vomiting. That was two years ago and I am just now finally able to tolerate it in breakfast shots.. gets the job done a little too effectively. Not a good sipping whiskey. More of a mixed with sprite or coke type whiskey.jameson

Started with a Jameson neat about 5yrs ago. Thought it pretty good but just had never been a brown liquor guy before. A year later while on the deck at our rental in Canaan Valley, WV smoking bbq, my bro-in-law and I finished off a bottle. BBQ takes a long while. Perfect for doing bbq. Ever since that time I've been a big fan!
