Meh. Jameson's is in the "what can I buy for as little as possible which doesn't taste awful" category of liquor. As such, it succeeds in not tasting awful. In fact, it tastes fine, with little harshness and quite a nice mouthfeel and a reigned-in grain-bitterness which is familiar and pleasant. But there isn't much there. Jack Daniels has more character, if more harshness. I would suggest The Baillie Nicol Jarvie as head and shoulders above this one, but I don't think they make it anymore. Or Famous Grouse, but they've changed that so it's not as good. Or Black Bottle, though it's been at least ten years since I've tried it. Has that been ruined as well? Suntory Old gets a thumbs-up as an alternative too. Basically what I'm saying is, there is nothing either special or terrible about this Jameson's and there are far too many slightly better alternatives to mention.

My go to blended Irish when I can't get my favorite. IT is definitely in the affordable range compared to single malts. It goes well in cocktails, and can be drank neat. Irish whisky is always smooth, and this doesn't disappoint - lacking the smokiness that makes Scotch stand out.

I kind of liked it at first try but after awhile of drinking it it wasn’t for me I kept hoping the taste would fit my taste buds but it didn’t get any better. Maybe if it was a little smoother it would have tasted better but to each it’s own I’m sure I would try another kind.

I was introduced to Jameson many years ago by a friends father who was making Manhattans with Jameson Irish Whiskey. His statement was Jameson made the Manhattan as original as possible. How true he was. Since then, I have been making Manhattans with Jameson because it has a bold, smooth taste. I've also enjoyed Jameson with pickle juice, as a pickle-back. My favorite way to enjoy the smooth rich taste is over a large ice cube.

After hearing about Jameson for the past 2 years, I finally got a bottle of Original the day after my birthday. Although my original reaction was "alcohol mellowed out by smoothness", it grew on me as I progressed. I became a Jameson fan from that day forward....and I felt sad when the first bottle was gone. But I'd go on to Caskmates & Black Barrel....and I loved those too! IPA is good, Stout is fantastic, & Black Barrel is on another level of deliciousness. My 2nd bottle of Jameson Original ended up being sweeter & better than the first! GO JAMIE!!

This is 100% one of my favorite go-to's.  When it comes to Whiskey, I have tried just about everything under the sun and I constantly come back to my favorite drink of Jameson, Ginger Ale and Lime.  The flavor is very light and not too over-powering but makes such delicious cocktails and even good standalone.

This is the only whiskey I drink! It tastes great especially with cranberry or ginger and it’s triple distillation means I don’t get ill even though I can’t handle gluten! Even before I was celiac I always preferred Jameson because it tastes the best!

Jameson mixed with gingerale is my go-to drink.This smooth whiskey keeps me feeling warm and grounded. Whether served over ice or by its self, I will always accept a Jameson drink. This little bottle is more than enough for me to have my own night cap. 

One of my favorite bottles to drink! This liquor goes down VERY smoothly! Sometimes I don't need a chaser. At times, it does not leave an after taste (maybe it's when Im starting to feel it kick in?) I drink this or tequila every time I'm planning on getting drunk. Great for parties with friends :)

Well, I am 28 years old and I just had my first shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey in February of 2020. It was, from what I remember, very smooth and very flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised with how well it paired with ginger ale, lol. I have yet to try mixing it with pickle juice though!
