I'm not a fan of black licorice, so this one will never be my go-to unless it's one of the only options in the cabinet. However, I haven't tried mixing it with other drinks, only on the rocks. I can see why it's a good social drink to just sip on while talking story though.

Jame-o, my man! Is he the smoothest out there? No, but you keep coming back to him because you can tolerate him and he gets the job done. There may be better out there, but there is also a lot lot worse. Jameson is my preferred whiskey for whiskeys of this price point. My tried and true. My guy. We've been in this together for a long time and I don't foresee an end in sight.

I like Jameson! It's a very good whisky. It has a bite but isn't too harsh. Fairly smooth and I like it because you can taste the wood from the barrel. I think it's good mixed but my husband loves it over ice. It's priced fairly and I've never had a hangover with it like I usually do with cheaper whiskeys.

I first tried this about a week before traveling to Ireland. Couldn't go without first trying there signature whiskey. I'm not a whiskey drinker but this product is smooth (over ice). Nice for sipping on a cold evening. Also it's the only whiskey to use for Irish coffee :)

My favorite brand of whiskey. Great price point, and I always keep a bottle in my apartment. Tastes great on the rocks or mixed in with some ginger ale and a lime wedge. I recommend that to all my friends whenever they don't know what to get when we go out.

I gave myself an early Birthday gift and added the 18 Year Limited Reserve to my collection. This was a darker-looking good blend. You can pick up more smells (sherry, oak) than you can taste (caramel, malt, coconut, banana, nuts, spice). It was smooth and warm. Basically, it is a much smoother version. I was more impressed with the beautiful Oak Box and Large cut bottle. - Cheers Drew

Jameson Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey has a smoothness that is like no other. It has a smell of pepper and wood with a slight floral scent or marigolds and has a slight taste of vanilla. I guess my Irish born great Grandmother and uncle gave us all a taste for the Irish. There is nothing like a small glass of Jameson's Triple Distilled on a cold night.

Love the taste of this one. I would definitely recommend it for someone who is just starting with whiskey because personally it isn't as strong. It tastes really good mixed with raspberry lemonade! I don't like lemonade but those two together are amazing!

About a decade ago I went out for girls night. A guy at the bar ordered some Jameson for my three homegirls and the look on their faces lol I took a picture of you could see it that would be proof enough that this drink tastes like licking a leather boot heal

I was skeptical but this whiskey is genuinely very smooth. I have friends who drink it straight without an issue and I have gotten in the habit of drinking it with ginger ale to tone down some of the flavor. This is now one of my go to whiskeys because of the smoothness and quality.
