I have tried all of the variants (Caskmates, Barrels, Etc.) and I keep coming back to the original. If I want spicy I go with a stiff Rye or a banging Bourbon. As the Irish go, smooth and sweet is Jameson original. The others cannot compare so far as my tongue says. So many whiskeys and I've invested the time to reveal the moods of my personal palate. Ten or so basic whiskeys top my list of standards and Jameson original is among them. In keeping with the guidelines, I won't mention specific competitors, but the top ten include 4 Canadians (three from the same manufacturer, including the Best Whiskey Ever), 2 Irish (including Jameson original), 2 Bourbons, a Japanese, and a Scotch. I have sampled nearly 200 different whiskeys and am proud to enjoy Jameson original.

It's the industry standard. I used to love it but as I get older I just can't seem to stomach it anymore. I'm just not a big fan of Irish whiskeys, and prefer bourbon. It doesn't make a good old fashioned but I will shoot it, especially out at the bar with friends. I will say I like the packaging and the price tag, but it's just a mediocre whiskey. 

I was introduced to Jameson several years back at bar/restaurant around Chritmas time. I normally drink Scotch, like Glenmorangie but my friend bought a round of Jameson on ice. I was so pleasantly surprised. Now when I'm out or occasionally at home, I'll have a Jameson on the rocks and it triggers good memories while enjoying a smooth finish Irish whiskey.

I have been drinking Jameson for over 40 years. I have had various Scotch, Bourbon, and other Irish whiskeys over time, some quite good, but always came back to my Jameson. It is consistently the smoothest, tastiest, and most satisfying whiskey in the world. It is the best.

I used to drink this one all the time! The taste is very strong and does burn somewhat going down, so the only way I would take shots of this would be as a pickleback. I also love to make green tea shots with this as well. my personal preference, it is too strong to drink alone. 

You can't beat the original. The other stuff is for millennials who can't handle liquor without a flavor additive. I always have this in the cupboard. I will admit I also keep Redbreast and Greenspot alongside my Jamo. I will also occasionally go for the Jamo 18, but the price is often more than Middleton. So I opt for Middleton. But I always keep the OG Jamo on hand, and it is the only shot I will do when out with friends. If someone says “shots!,” there is no question that it will be Jamo. Keep up the good work. Oh and btw, nice touch with the Colorado Avalanche pint glasses. Bought a bunch for my friends and told them they're true Irish shot glasses! See you in August for the Oasis Croke Park shows. Jamison is my favorite sipping whiskey. I chose this whiskey first because it has a high quality looking bottle. It tastes smooth and delicious. It's right in the middle for pricing, it tastes like it should be more expensive. I definitely will buy again.

What's not to love about Jameson. It's good whiskey. It's smooth and has a good taste. Perfect after a long day or a night out. I've tried other whiskeys but I find myself continuously coming back to Jameson. I've never had a hangover from it unlike tequila or vodka.

This is by far one of the best tasting whiskeys out there. If I'm mixing with coke this is the one liquor i prefer to mix with it. The taste is so smooth and unique. This is a classic to always keep in stock all year round. If you haven't tried it, do! Its totally worth every penny!

Lovely, light smoky flavor, with a strong back of throat catch before it slides down like caramel fire. Smooth and elegant to drink, to hold, to nurse, and finally to sip. I simply love this drink, and please no ice and do not mix it! But do drink it!
