I bought this in hopes of saving money, but the grinder itself is awful. On the fine setting, the pepper is extremely coarse. Back to McCormick

Will continue to purchase, love this product! Wish it stayed in stock more because I will go to buy and most of the time the shelve is bare of them.

After making a full sheet pan deep dish pizza, I finished it with a grind of fresh pepper. Unfortunately the top popped off and I had to scrape EVERYTHING off to take off the hundreds of pepper corns off the top.

Have bought 3 of these and all 3 have broken before you get halfway through the peppercorns. The plastic doesn't hold up and is cheaply made. Get yourself a real grinder and thank me later.

The overall product is great. The problem is that it only has 4 levels of grinding and the lowest setting is still very coarse, not fine ground. Other than that, it is a great product.

I love this product. The ability to adjust the grind works wonderfully. The only problem is you can't refill it which creates an enormous amount of waste for no reason.

I bought this because it seemed like a nice sturdy glass grinder. I didn't even consider that it wouldn't be refillable. My Bad. Can't refill it, can't recycle it. Because you can't remove the plastic/metal/ceramic/latex top, the final destination of this mostly glass item is the local landfill. How hard would it have been to make this refillable? Sam's Club should make an effort to reduce the amount of junk, one-use items they have in their stores. DON"T BUY!

Only bought this for the black peppercorns. Already had a good pepper grinder. So, just trying to transfer some peppercorns from the Member's Mark grinder jar to our grinder, and the top of the MM grinder falls off, peppercorns bouncing everywhere! Here, a month later, still finding peppercorns in every kitchen cranny. So, we have learned the hard way, to pull the entire MM grinder cap off the glass jar before transferring more of the remaining peppercorns. At least, we didn't spoil a meal like some other reviewers did. Plus, we are not all that enamored with the flavor of the MM peppercorns.

I bought this to refill my pepper grinders. Unfortunately this product has a permanently attached grinder top that does not unscrew. That was a shock. This forces you to either submit to using the grinder attached to the jar or struggle to remove it. I had to resort to 12-inch adjustable pliers. Unlike some other negative comments, I found the grinder top was almost impossible to remove, and when it finally did break off, peppercorns flew everywhere. Even at the relatively high price, this was still the lowest price for peppercorns in our rural area. I will be looking for a more realistic product elsewhere, definitely NOT SAM'S CLUB!!! So stupid.

Not only does this have a really good flavor and a very good value to begin with, this pepper grinder is refillable! For the cost of just a pepper grinder at a store, at Sam's Club you get a grinder and black peppercorns. I buy bulk black peppercorns and bulk rainbow peppercorns and have a couple of these grinders and when they finally stop working or get broken, I just get another one at Sam's Club. I do the same with the Himalayan pink salt grinder as well.
