The tablets work great! One bucket last me two summers but I’m in western pa so we get about 5 swimming months with a heater. The price, ridiculous!!!! But like others have said all chlorine has quadrupled in price since 2020. Two of the largest chlorine manufacturers had catastrophic damages add that together with everyone and their grandma getting a pool that summer or the next equals cost hike! It’s the old supply and demand. I hate it as much as every other pool owner but I’m also thankful to have a pool and be able to get chlorine. I was fortunate enough to have enough chlorine on hand to get me through a few summers. I had friends that were using bleach to keep their pool sanitized during the crazy chlorine shortage. I like them but it is wasteful to have each tablet individually wrapped.

The tablets take weeks to disinigrate. Only used 6 tablets. Hope I can return them.
