We bought this mattress 22 months ago the mattress is sinking in and the top is bunching on my side, I'm a 180lb man and have already rotated the mattress due to this on the other side. It hurts my back and my wife rolls into the deep depression it creates making for a bad night of sleep for both of us. I've gone through the Sam's club/Serta warranty procedure sending photos etc. and they agree the mattress is defective however their 10 year wrrty is bogus as is their 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. I've been getting the run around from them for 3 weeks. They want to send a crew to come take this defective mattress and not replace it but instead leave me with no bed, after receiving my defective mattress back at their warehouse I've been told I would need to call them and request that they issue me electronic gift cards for use at Sam's club for the original purchase amount which is now not even enough to repurchase the same mattress. The Serta warranty and Sam's Clubs 100% satisfaction guarantee is a scam. This mattress is poor quality and they will not replace it. I've spent hours on the phone and end up with the same excuses I've been told I will get calls back and do not and told they will replace the mattress, then they say they can't. I have a trouble ticket filed and have spoken to multiple people who all say they can't really do anything its just policy to take the mattress and issue gift cards for the purchase price. Its been so frustrating as the customer service reps don't understand why I wouldnt just be happy to give up my bed and accept a giftcard days later, forcing me to spend the money back at Sams club on another mattress while sleeping on my floor as I wait for all this to happen and not accounting for inflation. I asked for a refund to my original method of payment and they said that would be a special request and take more than 30 days from when they receive the mattress back. I Just want them to give me a new mattress as the Serta 10 year warranty states, if they can't do that then I deserve a full refund of my MONEY not gift cards in a reasonable time frame. I contacted Serta directly they said they do not deal with Sam's club sales or warranty as Dams club has its own team for this however If we had purchased from Serta directly the mattress would be replaced with the same or equivalent mattress not giftcards. We will not Renew our Sam's Club membership after this experience.
