If you like green chiles this is the only way to go. Taste great, think omelets, enchiladas, sandwichs. definitely recommend.

My boyfriend loves them

I have been buying Hatch canned Chile's for years, but the last time I did, the skins were still on the chiles. I had to peel them prior to cooking. And these Chile's were about 2 inches long. Not good for Chile rellenos. Not what I have come to expect from Hatch.

I bought the whole chiles for making Chile Rellenos. The chiles had their tops completely cut off and many of them had split sides. I needed the stems for holding them as I dip them in batter for frying. I had to piece them together with toothpicks to hold the filling (cheese strips) inside for cooking. I will stick to using fresh Chiles in the future. Takes much longer, but worth it. I gave a 3 star review because the flavor and description were accurate.

Not the real hatch chiles but they were nice chiles. They were thick and meaty.
