I shopped a lot of pergola kits and feel this one was a very good value. Assembly took about 7 hours with myself and my wife. Using the Bilt app on a tablet is highly recommended, since it's much easier when you can zoom in and rotate to see how parts go together. No issues whatsoever with holes lining up. The one problem we faced was getting the two end assemblies upright and connected together with the side rails. It would have been far easier with three people - two to support the end assemblies while the third person installed the side rails on top. The instructions don't give any tips. We managed, but it wasn't pretty! I also question how, once fully assembled, it's possible with two people to mark where the plastic feet should sit, move the pergola to anchor the feet and then put the pergola back in place. The pergola weighs 400 pounds. Our patio is shaded from the prevailing winds by the house, so we'll take our chances and not anchor it.

Appearance is nice. The pre cut wood does not align, the holes are not drilled all the way and the directions are about as useless as I’ve ever seen on any item that needs to put together. Some of the wood is already splintering. I’ve had it for a week and a half

Lovely pergola!!! So nice to not have to stain it and it looked stunning as soon as it was put together. Cedar is a soft wood - so it gets dented fairly easily, but otherwise we love it!

Since the purchase of the 10x10 pergola, it was pretty simple to put up and I'm enjoying it so far. Awaiting to see how it holds up during moderate to heavy winds. So far a great buy for the money!

Delivery was our main issue. It took a month, and then no one called to tell us they were on their way. Also, if the bolts were even a 1/4 inch longer, it would be a BIG help. Took three guys about four hours. Looks good....

I just installed the 14' x 10' Pergola ...took me one weekend to two coat the wood with an oil stain and install with just some help.... I will let you know how it will hold up in the weather but happy overall of the product

Our pergola has now officially become our outdoor dining room - we eat out there almost every night. It was easy to put together (I've been told by the people who put it together) and it looks fantastic!

Great engineered product. Each box was packaged very well and there was no damage at all. Take your time, put it together leaving everything fairly loose and once completed tighten and square everything up. Two people completed this in 4-1/2 hours.

The pergola arrived intact with everything needed and in good shape. I was amazed at how quickly we could put it together. The pre-drilled holes were all in alignment. Looks great on our patio.
