My back patio had no shade and, even though I’m in Maine, the relentless sun made it too hot to spend much time out there. I had a carpenter put the gazebo together and he and a helper had no problems putting it up in just under four hours. He was impressed with the quality and how quickly it went together. Everyone who has seen it has commented in how nice it looks. Very satisfied!

We had 2 smaller resin pergolas in another part of our yard that provided a climbing structure for grapevines. We wanted to move these and provide a more elegant solution. High quality materials and clear assembly instructions facilitated the construction project. We've received many complements on the end results. We are a couple of miles from the coast and In the short time we've had it it's withstood a few hefty windstorms with no issue. This Backyard Discovery 10x10 pergola more than satisfied our expectations.

I bought this last June, and it arrived fairly quickly. I paid my landscape architect to assemble it and with a 2.5 person crew, it took about 4 hours. Lots of pieces, but they figured it out. The pergola is solid and the color is beautiful. It has withstood several storms and gusty wind days this past year. To protect , maintain, and preserve the cedar for years to come, I'm planning to put a clear coat of stain on it later this month. I am really satisfied with how it looks. I just wish they made them taller.

I am not one who usually writes reviews for items that I buy. But I want anyone who is thinking about this product to feel assured it will far exceed your expectations. I am thrilled with this pergola. It has added so much to our backyard. countless compliments from everyone who sees it. the quality of the wood and fasteners is top notch. . The ease of assembly is not often found in todays products. I would highly recommend this company for their customer service is very responsive and polite.

Purchased several months ago and finally had the time to assemble. I hired help and it went up easily and quickly. It took 2 guys about 5 hours to assemble. It helped to have all the parts laid out. I love and plan to put shade cloth over the top for extra shade in the summer.

I purchased and installed Beaumont Cedar Pergola on my backyard deck. The pergola has added a whole new dimension to the deck and its usefulness. The cedar wood was high quality and smells great. We absolutely love our pergola. We bought ours last year and it arrived on time right at our doorstep. It only took 2 people to assemble and only a couple hours from start to finish. It is the best feature in our backyard and we get so many compliments on it! We made a retractable canopy for it using wire, wood, and a drop cloth and makes the perfect shade on a sunny day. We even added solar globe lights to give it the perfect night glow. Even after one whole winter it still looks like new!

We bought this last fall and it is beautiful! Gorgeous stain color and easy assembly with the BILT app!! It has transformed the entire feel of our backyard space! Plus the company is so amazing and responsive! We bought another version in white galvanized steel for our lake house and it is amazing too! Great value for your money!

Overall the pergola is very nice and instructions were clear. Unfortunately the instructions for how long the base is were wrong. All the concrete was laid out exactly to their plan of 114" on center, but when assembled the posts were just over 115" on center. I recommend building all of the long pieces FIRST, then calculate how far apart the posts will be. I am a woodworker and teach engineering. Normally you would cut everything to size as you are building because there can be some changes in wood or other things. So for a pre-made, pre-drilled pergola it's understandable that some holes don't line up, kind of annoying the post distance wasn't correct as they will not be centered on my columns. One thing to add, all of the pieces are short and use a lap joint and bolts to secure them. Cedar is a soft wood, so I glued all of the lap joints and bolted them. Because all of the pieces are bolted together I would not trust standing or putting anything heavy on top. From a learning experience, I recommend building all of the long parts in sections and then sealing them before assembly. Overall it is a fairly good product. The only reason I did not build this from scratch is because the price of lumber to make something similar would have been as much or more than the kit. Had I known all of the long pieces were bolted lap joints and the 6x6 columns are hollow I may have just held out and designed and built my own.
