Canned fish is not meant to be eaten with a fork right out of the can. Partially open can and drain. Open can and remove contents to a bowl. Remove bones optional. I do not. Break apart with spoon. Add some chopped green onions and a couple of tbsp of your favorite mayo. Add 1/4 tsp dry mustard (optional). Stir well. Yum...Yum!!!

This makes great salmon patties, but I like to mix it with mayo, green onion, chopped hard-boiled egg, bacon, avocado and baby spinach for an awesome lunch. The price is good and the quality is excellent. As for the smell some reviewers complained about, it smells fine to me. I don't know what they expected; you aren't going to find sushi grade salmon in a can.

I used both cans of Honey Boy pink salmon and I made salmon cakes, fried them in grapeseed oil. They were great and my husband enjoyed them as well.

It's a good product, the salmon is quite good, doesn't feel dry, the only drawback is you have to use a can openner but that's okay

All cans were dented upon arrival and had come undone from the plastic piece holding the 4 cans together.

I think canned salmon looks, and sounds disgusting. No, it doesn't taste like fresh salmon, but it is much better than it sounds, and is good in some applications like salmon patties. Good alternative source to canned tuna, for storable protein.
