I read good reviews for this product. It said there were a minimal amount of bones. It is loaded with bones, vertbrae, ribs. . .Not just a few fones - LOADED with bones, I won't even give this to my dog there's so many bones. Also Plenty of Skin

I don’t understand why people complain about the bones and skin it’s extra vitamins and minerals and once it’s mixed for Patties you don’t know the difference. It tastes good and not mushy. We use this brand often. Great Omega oil source and sustainable. I grew up eating canned salmon and they always had bones and I’m 63

This is canned and cooked WILD Alaskan salmon. It has small, soft edible bones and some skin--which only increases the health-benefits of the fish. It is not particularly good directly from the can but excellent as patties, croquettes and loafs. Don't confuse this product with so-called Atlantic salmon: "Atlantic" salmon is farmed salmon and supposedly not particularly healthy. If you are looking for health benefits, this is the product for you!

We have bought honeyboy salmon from Sams Club for years. Always been satisfied with it. I could just eat it right out of the can. The last two 4 packs that we have bought have not been the ususal quality. Today, we were so disappointed. I opened 3 cans, took out the fat , dark skin and bones, and barely had one can's amount to prepare to eat. It had such a strange taste as I took the first bite, that I threw it away. This has happened twice. The number on the cans today, were 5551P under that CR239 best by Aug 20,20 . We will miss this product but am afraid to spend the money on it again.

This makes great salmon patties, but I like to mix it with mayo, green onion, chopped hard-boiled egg, bacon, avocado and baby spinach for an awesome lunch. The price is good and the quality is excellent. As for the smell some reviewers complained about, it smells fine to me. I don't know what they expected; you aren't going to find sushi grade salmon in a can.

Canned fish is not meant to be eaten with a fork right out of the can. Partially open can and drain. Open can and remove contents to a bowl. Remove bones optional. I do not. Break apart with spoon. Add some chopped green onions and a couple of tbsp of your favorite mayo. Add 1/4 tsp dry mustard (optional). Stir well. Yum...Yum!!!
