Fish should be cleaned of scales. The scales were full on this fish. I had to take it outside in the winter to descale this thing. And the flesh was brittle. Won't purchase fish from Sam's again

I didn't realize the trout I purchased was farm raised...normally I prefer wild caught fish. I do like this fish. Sam's is the only place we buy trout

My family loves the fresh Steelhead Trout. I grill it on the bbq year 'round. It makes a wonderful meal. We like the Steelhead Trout because it is less oily than salmon and has a milder taste.

Exceptional quality for the price. I’m not a gourmet chef but with just a little lemon juice, butter, and garlic iand baking for 25 minutes it was better than my favorite high end restaurant.

We buy it weekly and love it's mild flavor and ease of preparation. I didn't buy it recently because the packages all have two now, requiring me to freeze one. The quality is still good, but I prefer not having to freeze and thaw.

I’ve never had trout before. I actually thought I bought salmon. But realized it was trout after I got home. I was pleasantly surprised tho, because it was awesome! It was great!

I think it was priced ok. The only issue I had was that it was good only to the day I purchased it. I should have looked at the date before I bought it.

It is fabulous. It melts in your mouth its so good: a little bit of olive oil, a little bit of cilantro lime seasoning (from SAMs) a dab of mineral salt, a sprinkle of lemon (let sit for 30 minutes) and into the oven. Fabulous.
