Hard as rocks

I bought this tray on December 8, 2023 for a church 100 year celebration that was held on December 9, 2023. all the cookies were hard as rocks. Only good if they were dipped in milk or coffee. Must have been labeled wrong.

Hard and Stale

Bought these cookies in store to bring to a dinner party. Cookies looked appealing however when tasting them they were hard and disgusting. Thought maybe it was just one variety but the others were just the same. The best by date was still four days later. Embarrassing and disappointing to say the least.

NOT freshly baked. Taste as it looks. Inconsiste

Disappointing. The website says freshly baked cookies with almost 5 stars. I did a mobile order pick up. The platter i received is dated 4 days ago so I head into the store to get the platter made today. There are none. Although there are multiple trays, they are either dated 4 or 2 days ago. I'm guessing they bake every other day. I also notice that the 4 days ago tray look noticeably lighter in color than the 2 days ago. So although I'd like to get the "fresher" batch, they look overbaked and dry so I settle for the 4 day old cookies because I needed it for an event. They look like processed cookies and they taste as they look. Definitely does not have the texture, color or the taste of homemade. The price, presentation and the number of cookies are good but I won't be buying these again if they don't improve on them. I'd be willing to pay double if they can get the quality up to bakery standards.

Good if you like the normal super sugary cookies.

Lots of very very sugary sweet cookies for events. My mom always cut the sugar with homemade cookies, I do the same, so my taste buds are always in for a shock when I buy bakery or big brand cookies...I so wish they could have less sugar, the chips and other additions give plenty of sweet. However, that's my thing and overall, this is a great buy if the sweetness works for you. There is an equal amt of oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip bigger cookies, a lot less macadamia and white choc cookies, and plenty of the smaller "candy" m&m style cookies. Of course choc macadamia are my fav, so that was another issue that bothered me. I won't get this again, but I can recommend it to others who don't mind the above since most of it is my personal preference.

NOT GOOD -worse than playdoh

I purchased 3 trays of pastries which were fine. I also purchased 3 cookie trays. OMG seriously the cookies tasted like you were eating flavorless playdoh. They were moist so I thought Oh good they are not stale. But sadly they were gross to say the least. I bought for an event at work and people kept commenting on how yucky they were. They asked where I purchased them and I told them Sams club and they literally asked me to never purchasre them from there again. And these are people that love free cookies so they must have been bad. I tried a chocolate one with some type of chip in it (I think it was supposed to be butterscotch chips) and I took 2 bites and was shocked by the texture which was like soft raw dough but also the taste was not good at all and I had to throw mine out. did not even taste like a chocolate cookie. 😲☹️ Sams needs to get another type of dough because it is terrible. They may also want to get new dough for their sandwich croissants. those are horrible also. Too dense, dough flavorless, taste that is there is not good at all. I couldn't even get my mother in law to take them home. I just threw them out. So sad that the bakery or owners do not care for quality in baked goods. ☹️☹️🤯

Curbside pickup

Cookies may be great but do not depend on the curbside pickup option working. If you get lucky and they have extra you might get a tray. The planning ahead of 24 hour notice option does not work for this product. Very disappointed I didn't get mine. I will call the bakery and order for in store pickup.

Yikes! Hard as a rock.

I bought these for a family celebration. The oatmeal cookies were fresh. All the others were stale/hard. According to the sticker, there will still several days before the expiration date. I can't imagine how hard they would be by then. The tray looks yummy but the cookies were a disappointment.
