I love me a good pressure washer. I wouldn’t say I’m the biggest expert, but I’m certainly not a novice by any means. This bad boy packs a mean punch. The pump itself is massive. Shoot, the entire unit is freaking huge. Never seen anything like it. Honda GX270 is already doing her thing. Holds 1.2 US qt of 10w-30 oil, roughly 38.4 fl oz. Unit comes with 1 qt (32 fl oz) Amsoil oil, so you’ll need an extra 6.4 fl oz’s of oil to meet the spec. Don’t worry about the dipstick level. Fill her up until oil is touching inner threads aka about to spill out. And hold on when squeezing the trigger for the first time…it’ll push ya back a little. Pressure is amazing and the 3.5 GPM should speed things up drastically. So far, so good. Looking forward to seeing what all she’s gonna do for me in the future. Dad always told me…”If you take care of your equipment, your equipment will take care of you.” Can’t wait for all the tune-up’s. Go drop the dough and get ya one right now. You won’t regret it!

This pressure washer was one of the few gas powered ones I can get in CA. It was relatively affordable when its on sale. It’s powerful, easy to start, and cleans well. Simpson claims their pressure washers are “made in the USA,” however I’m not really sure what exactly is made in the USA. The engine and tires are made in China, the pump and spray gun is made in Vietnam, so I guess maybe the frame is the only thing actually made in the USA? They should probably just claim to be “assembled in USA” instead. The foreign parts actually looked pretty good. The frame was realistically the worst made part and had bad, splotchy powder coating.

This basically the same as my Dewalt pressure washer from 5 years ago. Same Honda Gx 270 and similar Triplex pump. The older pump failed and was mixing water with pump oil. I couldn’t get the pump off the shaft because the manufacturer didn’t put anti sieze grease on the shaft. So I went to remove the new pump and put anti seize grease on it and the soft 5/16” hex head bolt stripped. Three no problems but the 4th…so very disappointing that you created another failure point to keep people buying new machines when they could just replace parts.

Upgrade from my old 2300 psi pressure washer that could only pump 1.7 gallons a minute if my memory serves me correctly. This thing is doing over twice the gpm and almost twice the psi. Even though this thing is a lot heavier so it’s harder to transport. It’s really easy to maneuver for its weight. The only thing I wish it had was a gauge for when you adjust the pressure. It’s all just a guess without a gauge. The only time that’s really a concern is when you use attachments that have a lower psi rating than 4000psi. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase and I’m sure the Honda engine will keep on working well into the future.

This is my first triplex pressure washer and the power increase is very noticeable. Cleaned house and driveway in approximately half the normal time. Used a 16inch surface cleaner and worked great. Only complaint is the transport handle. I’m not sure why but it has a lot of play. Maybe it’s to reduce metal fatigue due to the vibration? Either way, would buy again!

I’ve been very happy with my Simpson power washer. It starts easily, has plenty of power for cleaning decks, siding, driveways, and equipment, and feels well-built. The pressure is strong enough to tackle tough dirt and grime, yet it’s easy to operate. Overall, it’s a reliable machine that gets the job done and has been a great investment for home and outdoor cleaning projects.

I used this to wash my farm equipment. It does an excellent job. So happy I purchased a Simpson.

Good sturdy frame, solid pump, and as always Honda makes a workhorse of an engine. Combined, they make up a fantastic machine that gets the job done reliably and quickly.

Not in service yet, need to p/u a few connectors for my application. Big deal is there is no info with machine about the AAA pump. No manual or instructions.
