Easy to put together---15 minutes or so. Comfortable. Nice looking. Worth the price.

Easy to assemble.

When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised by the product. A very nice color, stout frame and pretty easy to put together, or so it seemed. However, when I started to put it together my opinion quickly changed. The seat mechanism was bent so it would not fit into the base. I fixed that and put the base together. I then moved on to the chair back assembly. The screw holes were misaligned so I could never actually get past the base. I also had a couple other people try to align the bolts and assemble. No such luck.

...but not perfect. My only complaint is that the position of the back causes one to lean forward. I wish there were a way to adjust this; I feel like I will fall off if not careful. The cushions on the seat and back are great. The wheels work great. The size of the chair is just right: big enough to be comfy and small enough to fit in my teeny office.

I ordered this chair, in turquoise, for 'free pickup' at my local Walmart. The main selling points for me were the chrome (to highlight my silver computer & peripherals), and the cheery pop of color provided by the turquoise color of the mesh fabric cushions. When I got the box home, I immediately opened it up, to ensure everything was included, and not damaged from shipping. I found every piece was wrapped in bubble-wrap and cardboard, and taped up; and the hardware was in a bag and taped to one of the cardboard wraps. A pair of scissors made quick work of the tape. It did not take long to put the chair together, because the hardware included the two different-sized hex wrenches necessary to fit all the screws. Be aware, the instructions are just pictures at each stage of the build, without any actual words of instruction included. I did not have difficulty understanding them, though. Unfortunately, I was interrupted by a phone call during the process, so can't provide the actual time frame it took to put the chair together, but it was pretty quick. The build process went smoothly, with only one little exception: One of the 4 screws that attach the metal part to the underside of the bottom cushion--at the rear portion of the chair--was not able to line up with the interior screw socket deep inside the cushion, so would not tighten or even stay in the whole. This had no real effect, as the chrome piece connecting the chair's back cushion is screwed (w/4 screws) into the rear back bottom cushion and metal under-plate, providing the necessary secure attachment of both the back cushion and the metal part under the bottom cushion. End result is a beautiful and very comfortable office chair. The color--at least for my chair--is true to the color provided in the online pictures.

The chair is much much more attractive than I thought it would be for $58.xx. It is extremely comfortable. I sit up; I never lean on the back of a chair. But if you do in this one you will be surprised at the comfort of the back. The back is curved and hugs you. I may lean back more often now. I order this in orange and the color is beautiful.....just in time for football season (orange/navy colors for my team). The fabric is why I gave appearance only four stars. It does look fine now, but it is a synthetic with tiny holes in it. It feels like flexible plastic actually. I expect it will not stain, but if you sit in it in shorts, you are going to have a pattern on your skin. I prefer fabric upholstery that feels like it has some cotton in it. Also, note that mine (and your may too) arrived with the seat cushion smashed in places where it had been packed tightly. I was worried but it is almost unnoticeable after 12 hours. The chrome, rather than the standard black plastic, seems to be very strong and is very attractive. Hoping it doesn't start spotting. But for now, the chair is very nice looking and comfortable with a seat large enough to be really comfortable. Highly recommended at this price.
