I am highly impressed with the quality of this chair for the reasonable price. I was concerned about purchasing it online and not being able to see and feel it ahead of time (for both quality and aesthetic reasons) but I have nothing but good things to say about it. It took less than 10 minutes to put together and the only tools necessary to do so came in the box. Instructions were easy, a ten year old could have pulled it off just as quickly. When I was first pulling the parts out, I couldn't decide if it was going to be comfortable or not. The seat and back rest appear to be made of a bunch of layers of that basketball jersey type mesh (although you can tell there is foam underneath). The material has actually been great for keeping it clean, mess doesn't stick to it the way it would those nasty boring black office chairs. As far as how it's held up, again, I could probably go on for days. I've been using it for about a month now and (being a law student) there are days (a lot of them) where I'm sitting in it for nearly 20 hours straight. Even sitting in it for hours, this chair is incredibly comfortable. It looks just as good as the day I got it and still functions (rolling, height adjustment) perfectly. After the first few days of using it, it got a little squeeky - but I just tightened up the screws and it's been silent ever since. I got the chair specifically for yellow color to brighten up my space. It was a bit brighter than I expected, but I think it looks fantastic. I didn't think the dimensions of the seat of the chair would matter! but it does!!! I was looking for a chair that would be simple, sleek, and modern. When I got it, it was a bit jumbo-sized compared to my simple, sleek, white desk. That is the reason why I give it 4 stars instead. I got it in green and it looks exactly like the picture. perfect bright color. it is also incredibly comfortable.

The chair's appearance is really nice. I like the color I chose (coffee). I was afraid it would be too brown but wasn't. I would call it a light brown It is comfortable enough for my occasional use but not if I had to sit in it all day. It was very easy for a grandma and 5 year old grandson to assemble in a short time.

I like this chair but hope what I have read on other reviews of this chair on this site is true on the 250 lbs. weight limit. The chair does have a metal base, a very good sign of strength and durability. The chair is what I was looking for, low cost, armless, small wheeled base, and STURDY. The chair is comfy and was purchased for a sewing chair. I wish it were required in all specs to clearly list the weight limits of all chairs. Some chairs have the info listed, others one has to dig for and others, as in this chair don't have the weight listed anyplace. We looked for this important information under the seat cushion, in the wordless and very brief illustrations for the chair assembly and found no reference to weight limit. Gone are the good old days where one could buy ANY chair without having to worry or give thought to the weight limit. Sad. The least manufacturers could do is to supply this info in a clear location.

Bought this for my daughter's bedroom desk. Got the green one to match her bedding and the color is bright and fun. Actually received the chair with arms, but ordered the armless. Dtr wanted arms on and they're ok, but I think black plastic arms look cheap. Other than that the chair is a great value and comfortable.

Chair looks okay, but it was a miracle all the hardware made it during shipping. The washers and screws had been dumped into the box. No bag was found inside to indicate the hardware had ever been secured. Very disappointed in how chair arrived.

The chair had only one problem for me, and that is, it has a tilt position. I could not get comfortable after putting it together (which was a piece of cake, all by myself) because for me, it seem as though I just might slide right out of it. I thought maybe I put it together wrong, but clearly I didn't because everything has a place for itself. I had to take it back, and continue my search :( But, that was the only problem I encounter with this chair.

The way the seat is designed, it slopes forward so you feel like you are slipping out of the chair, especially coupled with the slippery material. I would have expected the seat to be slightly angled back so you don't fall forward. The back support is too close to the seat so you cannot sit properly with your spine and tailbone off the seat. For this price I expected more.

First of all, the chair is beautiful. It has a great look and it is something you will enjoy showing off to others. But that's where the good ends and the bad begins. It is possibly the most uncomfortable chair ever produced. It leans you forward to the point that you almost need a belt buckle to feel secure in the seat. It is impossible to lean back in the chair unless you're a professional contortionist. The seat itself is not cushioned at all so your behind will be very sore after about 30 minutes. Forget water boarding. The CIA could stick terrorist suspects in this thing for a day as a new form of "enhanced interrogation" and the dude would be singing like a bird in no time. Oh, and it squeaks non-stop.

Buyer Beware! This chair should have been an easy assembly job. But due to the fact that the two of the "WRONG" screws were put in, my husband had to go to Home Depot to purchase two screws to get the chair assembled. So in essence, what could have been about an hour or less assembly job, turned into about 3 hours trying to get the wrong screws to fit, until my husband had to go out and purchase the right screws.
