The dark areas are very pixilated and there is nothing that can be done about it. It's a well known problem. I'm pretty disappointed with my tv. I have a much older samsung tv and the picture is better on that one.

the color is clear but even with the setting to its full brightness is seems dark. we tried with the auto but still too dark. other than that it works just fine
