Customer reviews for SAMSUNG 70" Class TU700D-Series Crystal Ultra HD 4K Smart TV UN70TU700DFXZA forWhat a deal and the tv is fantastic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tv.... very easy to work and picture is so clear. My couch sits about 10-12 feet from the tv and it's just perfect. Controller is very easy to work . But I am having trouble with my firestick. Sometimes the app is there and sometimes it's not. But as long as I can get to it I'm ok because the picture is worth it. It might be something I'm overlooking. But for the price this is the best deal around. The color is great, i do have a surround sound that's hooked up to it but it's about eight years old. It's so easy to work, and for this old lady who's not necessarily tech savvy... this is perfect. Go get one or two... you won't be disappointed
43" Samsung Crystal UHD
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the clear picture and great sound on this TV. Unfortunately, we've had difficulty revising our "Home" apps (e.g., YouTubeTV) easily on our "smart" tv. That's our only complaint for this reasonably priced quality Smart TV
Crystal Clear
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first brought this television I was only using it for viewing regular programs but there is so much more. I use it for just about everything, streaming videos, and gaming is an incredible experience. The music comes out clear and I hear every note, every beat. So, I hooked it up to my surround sound system and it's as if I'm in a theater at home. The clarity of the picture is fantastic.
Pixelation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great picture and bright but you clearly see distortion around objects when they move across the screen. Most times it isn't that noticeable but sometimes it's pretty disheartening because it's a brand new tv. I had an LG prior to this and never had any issues like what I'm having with my Samsung. It's disappointing I always bragged about a Samsung I owned years ago. I guess you need to spend a grand to get a better picture.
Hi Whataboutbob, We are happy to hear that you are enjoying the crisp picture that the Crystal Processor 4K provides. If you are experiencing distortion, the issue may be due to not connecting correctly with an external device. Please check your connection with these steps: 1. Disconnect and reconnect the power cables and HDMI cables on the back of your TV, then unplug the power cord and plug it back into the wall outlet. 2. If the external device supports UHD video, use a dedicated HDMI cable (4K) for HDMI video playback. 3. If a component cable is used, make sure that the colored connectors are connected to the matching connectors on the external device and the TV. 4. Check the cable connection if you use a set-top box. The cable you need to check depends on the type of set-top box. 5. Make sure that your access point is connected to the Internet. If not, disconnecting and reconnecting its power cable may be required. 6. If the problem persists, check the video output settings in the settings menu of the external device, and ensure that your TV supports the video output mode. I hope these tips help you enjoy your new product. You can contact us for further help at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Good Budget TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV is bright and the colors are vivid. The smart features are pretty good. It allows me to download and sign in to every single one of my streaming apps (including Britbox and Acorns would you believe!!!). It will remember every you left off on certain programming and continue from there when you switch it back on (great for YouTube). On the other hand, you can tell it's a budget TV when you pick it up... very plastic. I accidentally peeled the corner of the polarizing screen layer because I assumed it was a screen protector m if it wasn't so brittle I may have done irreparable damage. Also, the Smart TV UI makes it a little tricky to find apps. It could be redesigned to be less cluttered and more intuitive. Overall, it's a great buy if you are in a budget. I imagine it's perfect for college kids.
Perfect TV for the bedroom
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 43" Class TU7000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV is a great size tv for the bedroom that we have. I had to upgrade to this TV because I needed a smart TV for certain apps for the kids. This TV is super easy to navigate and loading apps is lightning fast! A++
this product is great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is good becuase it's good while watching series and movies but not good at watching soccer because it has vertical banding and the hdr is good but i have to raise brightness to make it great and 4k content on it is so perfect overall this tv is good for its price.
Love it so far!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the clarity of the image! No bugs or screen freeze so far! Perfect for my small living room. Love that the updates are automatic with a small notification when completed. The only negative feedback I have is that I'm not able to share the screen from my macbook. I can do it with my iphone but not the computer unless through HDMI.
Bad Picture
samsung is the only brand of tv's i buy. i've never had a single complaint until now. my 8 year old plasma had a much better picture than this new 4k uhd? even after buying new 4k-8k hdmi cables, following picture quality “optimum” settings, and all the troubleshooting tips, the picture is too dark to watch. when you raise the brightness and contrast, it gets fuzzy? i'm frustrated and disappointed with everything about this tv. the remote design is horribe! i've never had a samsung tv dissapoint me. this particular 65” crystal 4k uhd hdr tv is junk! my old dlp tv had a picture better than this!i have come to expect much better quality from samsung. disapointment is an uderstatment with this product...
Brad: Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV and for your review. I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the brightness levels of your picture. If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright you can try Dynamic Picture Mode, or manually adjust the Brightness settings to your liking. Dynamic Picture Mode will make pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to: Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic Manually adjust the Brightness and other settings. Go to: Settings> Picture> Expert Settings You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV, according to the ambient light level, to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can select Minimum Brightness to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update. I hope this helps to improve your picture. crystal UHD is well named
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this was my first and biggest t.v for a while and it is well named crystal UHD. the picture is clear and great. Initially i have used this t.v. primarily for gaming and it has done great to render all my games in 4k 60 frames per second with ease. whenever i decide to watch a movie with the latest technology i switch the settings to movie and the picture is breath taking. i would highly recommend this t.v. to all of my friends. The price for this T.V was a great bargain and i would say you get more than what you payed for. An awesome t.v.
